  1. I'll tape it next time I'm out with them. His bike has DMC 916s, Coolhead, timing plate, reeds, and few other things. One of the Raptors is stock the other has exhaust, PC, and some kind of air box mod. I've smoked both the raptors BAD!
  2. hate to break it to you but I can roll a 700r with out a problem and I don't have a cub, it's not even close. My buddies full bolt on banshee runs neck and neck with my buddies 700r. It depends on the rider.
  3. they had their spring beach race this past weekend and I saw two banshee's racing, a few sitting around the pits and a BAD ASS stretched one sitting at WAWA. I heard their was a bunch friday night doing the sand drags, but I didn't make it down in time for them. I was wondering if anyone from here was there?
  4. glad to hear your doing okay man!
  5. I like 5 and 6!
  6. It's got small bore CPI inframes on it and I don't know the exhaust duration. It's Kevin Herr's aggressive dune port. I do run race gas in it, but I've been thinking about mixing it 50/50 because it's doesn't have crazy compression and it's only 6 degrees advanced.
  7. My squish or what ever its called is .028, should I worry about this?? I think i read it should be between .030 and .040. I've got a ported 4mill with a stock head cut. I could see on my old head, the piston was hitting the head. I guess at high rpm, but I never heard any noise from it. I had a new head cut a little while back and it's making 165psi cold if this matters idk. I just wanna know if I should get a thicker head gasket and will this lower my compression if I do?
  8. thats a lot of shit to swap out lol. I would start by checking the coil after it shuts off. weird my buddies 99 use to do this last year sometimes. he never figured it out and it hasn't done it yet this year.
  9. I watch a race between a 800 and banshee with just pipes. It was neck and neck all the way up the road. good luck, those things roll out.
  10. I was gonna use a LA sleeve big bore kit with a 4mill crank. That would've been a nasty trail motor with stock jugs I think. But yeah i think it really depends on power delivery. It's all on how much money you got.
  11. my bad, I miss read that. you may wanna think about some 28s or even 33s depending on what kind of riding you do. your fine with what you got if you don't feel like spending money, but your bike will pick up some power with bigger carbs. don't over carb it though. CPI's aren't a bad idea, you may want to start looking for a set.
  12. I agree, I use Kevin and if I build another bike I will use him again. awesome guy and great turn around. I also buy all my parts from Jeff at FAST and he's also a very good guy. he'll take time out of his day and answer all your questions and help you out with what ever you need. I've heard his port work is top notch!
  13. you'll need a spacer plate if you wanna keep the porting you have. If you decide to do that you don't need the domes to be cut. I would take you cylinders off and have a porter look at them and see if you can have them set up for the 4 mill. If they can be your not gonna need the spacer plate but your gonna need the head cut or with a cool head cut domes. You'll need the 795 series pistons if you go with a long rod set up, which is a good idea as it makes the cranks bearings last longer. if you don't you can just buy normal pistons.
  14. his carbs are fine. I would start looking for a set of used ported cylinders on here. maybe pick up a timing plate and few other small things. BTW i would get a compression gauge and test your bike, then post back with what you got.
  15. dam, 3 busa's! I have 07 750 and a 05 busa I work on. I'm putting chain and sprockets on the busa right now, went up 3 on the rear. other than that its stock. I was gonna try and take it to the track later this summer and see if I could get a 9 second slip with it.
  16. welcome! your in the right place. how fast is your busa and whats done to that??
  17. I was in Puerto Rico a few months ago and I made a post about this also. They were all over the place, packs of them rolling around everywhere. I can't wait until the next time I go back. I'm gonna rent a dual sport or a mototard and check out some of those trails.

  23. you sound like a 5th grade school teacher giving out an assignment.
  24. So I've been building a new camaro to drag race for the past few weeks and I've gone round and round with the local speed shop with getting parts. It's been a big pain in my ass. My banshee is my side toy that ripped when I'm stressed out. anyway I went riding last weekend and took a break from the camaro to get my head clear. after the day was up I was back in love with my banshee and stress free again. I got home and had to order more go fast parts for it of course! I called Jeff at F.A.S.T. and got a few things and I had some parts laying around. Jeff was cool as hell on the phone as usual and sent me a tracking number threw my pm's here! then I pm Keven Herr of HJR on here and asked him for some jetting specs before I went out earlier. I got home and he had already gotten back to me! WTF why can't my speed shop be like them!! I'm sorry these two have the best service around! My local speed shop doesn't call me back for weeks and takes forever to get parts. I just wanted to give them props again and let people know again how great these two guys are and to them THANK YOU! I'm sorry if this sounded like a corny post, but I've had it with my speed shop and these guys have ten times better service!
  25. If someone shoots me a pm, I'll come out probably as long as I don't have work. SJ isn't to far from me.
