  1. I got to rip my buddies shee tonight and other than 916s its got a few bolt ons. It's got no bottom end at all, mid range is okay and it rips pretty dam good up stairs. I thought these were trail pipes???? Oh and when i mean it has no bottom end, it's got way less than my HJR dune ported 4 mill with CPI's and 35pwk's. is this normal or is his jetting off or something. it seems to run good and its got good compression.
  2. yeah I don't know about mopars, but is that an 04-05 ZX10R? I've wanted that bike for a long time. everyone I've found has been beat, the wrong color, or over priced. maybe one day!
  3. I had a 350X i use to rip trails on. it was cool and took a little bit to get use to, but I still like my dirt bike and banshee better. I wish i didn't sell it but i needed some extra cash and I ended up making A LOT of money off that bike. Now I'm kinda looking for a 250r trike. I should have bought the last one i looked at. guy wanted 500 bucks and it hauled ass!

  5. I took my cylinders to the UPS store and they wrapped them up, put them in a box and ship them to Herr's in Cali. for $35 bucks.

  7. So whats all needed to build a Cheetah power valve motor??? I've read up on here, but their are no threads that tell everything from what I've seen. Right now I have an 4 mill stroker, HJR ported jugs, 35 pwk's, and small bore CPI in frames. If i wanted to build a 485 cheetah, what would it take besides the jugs, pistons, and machining the cases? I know i can probably use my carbs and get away with using my pipes for now. what else, lock up clutch, TZ bearings?? I think I've read somewhere it's better to use some after market power valve controller or something. Do i wanna get the cheetah jugs ported?? How much power do these things normally put down? basically I like having crazy power, but i wanna be able to use it too. I ride some trails, fields and I rip threw the coal mines from time to time. lastly whats one of these builds normally cost?? I'm thinking I may run my current motor threw the summer and build this one on the side. Thanks Bill
  8. i wouldn't run those carbs on a stock motor. i don't think big bore motors are all the great, most people around here stroke them. look around the site, it has all the info you'll ever need and if you don't see something just ask.

  11. theirs a few hills with cliffs at the top, most are only 3 feet high. their are a few with 7-10 feet high cliffs and idk about 1300 feet either. I'd say 500ft max!
  12. the guy on the KTM was like 55, idk how old the rest of them were. I normally talk the most trash of all, but the guy on the KTM was pretty dam good and i was way off my game that day due to a late night of drinking. Even on my best day though I still don't know if i would do that step up, to much risk if you get loose. on a Motocross track I'm game to race them though lol! I need to get back in shape this year and I'll take my 450 back up and try to man up, but i dont know. standing on top looking down i was like fuck that. you gotta seat hop it about 7 feet up!!!
  13. anyone know these guy?? A friend and me went up there one day and we stop to watch this guy do a hill on the back side with a step up on it. it was the guy on the ktm from these vids. His buddies started running there mouths and then when he came down he started calling our 450 POS and they're slow and all this shit. well my buddies an A class motocross rider and hes pretty dam good so he wanted to follow this guy. we followed him over to another hill he was doing. him and his buddies started talking shit again so we said fuck it and started ripping up all the same hills as him. So, he took us back over to the big hill again with the step up and said our 450s didn't have enough power to make it. Well i bitch out as i have a job and can't get fucked up, but My buddy made it first try but drop the bike at the top. he did again and whipped it at the top, lol. We all ended up drag racing and out 450s turned out to be faster than his 525 KTM that he said was "WORK"! He turned out to be a pretty nice guy in the end, but they kinda eat their words. My buddy just sent me the video i figure I'd see if any you guys knew them.
  14. I stuck mine open on my LT250R. I just lost some bottom end by doing that. I'm sure you can do the same with a Tecate.
  15. 87 was the first year of power valves and has the 5 bolt head and a 5 bolt intake, the 88s and up have a 6 bolt intake. I had a done up 87 that ran great for awhile. I crack a sleeve one day and it was all down hill from there. I finally got it running right the night i traded it for my banshee which was also a pos back then. I got the banshee and never looked back, WAY better bike!
  16. idk, My buddy JD isn't the greatest rider and his 700 runs down my buddies full bolt on banshee all the time. It's close off the line and then JD leaves him. I'm assuming its only close off the line because JD isn't the best drag racer.

  18. wrap a tie down around the tread of the tire and pull it tight. the inside of the tire (the bead) will push out towards the rims.
  19. soapy water, take the valve core out, and use a tie down to push the bead out.

  21. have you ever had anything swaintech?? its over rated and cost to much! plus it smells like ass when it gets hot. I thought i was gonna get cancer or something from breathing it in.

  23. I've had a few people say that, but its never happened. I've ridden with a few CR500 and none of them ever dusted me. One beat me and it was by only a bike or two and it wasn't stock at all. it got around me at the top of 4th shifting into 5th which still isn't that great if you ask me. Once we got in the trails or on a track i was gone! I use to have a KX500 and it wasn't that great. it wore you down fast, shit rattle off of it, it was heavy, didn't handle for shit, and it had massive traction problems. a stock Cr500 has 55-56bhp and weights 252lbs, mine CRF450 weights a little over 220 and has more horsepower and torque. which one do you really think is gonna win?

  25. weird, someone just gave me a set of those radials the other day, their pretty much new. I bought 4 rims off a guy he didn't feel like dismounting them and they were pretty new, so he left them on a gave them to me. I guess i'll give them a try when the weather warms up.
