  1. if you blow up a 4 stroke, your looking at a $1000-2000 to fix it. my buddy just spent $1800 because he broke a rod. it was a 05 yamaha and that was with no labor. a friend rebuilt it for free. when they go, THEY GO! i love my 4 stroke, but i hope it never blows up. i try not to beat the crap outta of it and take very good care of it.
  2. doesnt really matter she loaded. i probably good ape shit too if people where always following me around taking pictures.
  3. I've messed around with a few GNs and T-types. 3 of my friends had them in highschool. we were always playin around with them. badass cars and alot of fun to drive. the respond really well to basic bolt ons. Kirban performance (famous for GNs and t-types) is right down the street from me and Dale Cherry shop is not to far either, so their all over around here.
  4. i could be wrong. ive never pulled the key switch off mine.
  5. no, i think you just leave them apart.
  6. I replaced my 87 quadracer with my banshee about a month ago. i ride it every saturday and sunday. in the summer we ride everyday, so its gonna get alot of use. o yeah im 22.
  7. so the big bore kit is not a bad idea to throw in there since i have it and the long rod kit is just to help take some stress off the crank. am i getting this right??
  8. ive heard that big bore kits are a bad idea with the stock jugs, is this true??? a friend gave me some new jugs with sleeves that are boreable to 380 i think. i was gonna use them, but im not sure yet. im trying to build a good running banshee thats not gonna have problems all the time. i dont wanna run race gas either. i ride coal mines and some MX. i plan on taking it with me to the dunes too. im just trying to build a soild engine. also if i use these should i buy an aftermarket crank?? lastly are the long rod kits any good?? just trying to plan out what im gonna build. any info on this stuff would be great thanks guys.
  9. thats kinda fucked up because my buddy Nicks a hair dresser lol!! anyway thanks for the laugh. ill have to show him this.
  10. thanks for the welcome guys and yeah im lucky for my friends. their always willing to help out with all my projects.
  11. My friend Nick gave me a spare set of FMF gold series pipe and silencers, control arm bushings, and rear tires. My other buddy Chris gave me a crank and some jugs with a big bore kit. he said hes got some other stuff laying around to i can have. he just gotta look. i think its a 380kit idk, i gotta check. i gonna buy some toomey T5s down the road. i got some big plans for this bike.
  12. whats up guys. i just traded my 87LT250R for a 96 banshee. it was kinda beat, but a few friends threw in some parts and info and it seems to be running good now. i was told the kid raced it in flat track or something, but it was all stock. it ran like crap and didnt have the stock jets in it, so i believe that was all BS. a friend gave me some pipes and other small stuff for it. we threw it all on there and clean the carbs. now it runs good. i plan on letting it blow up and then building it up. anyway i just wanted to say hi.
