  1. Domes are still available guys, someone needs them. I've also got a Modquad rear chain guide that might as well be new. It's been bolted up but due to my skid plate I can't run it so I don't need it. $35 shipped in the US48
  2. I'd just leave it alone. It feels kinda good if you do it enough...
  3. On a more serious note, the best way that I know of to learn to ride one is to get it out in some dirt, gravel, or sand so you can get a feel for the throttle first and start to gauge when the powerband kicks in. This way when it does start coming on, and quickly might I add, the front end doesn't come up and shoot you out of control. Let the rear spin up so you can get a feel for things. IMHO taking it out on concrete or asphalt may well be the beginning of your demise because when the front end comes up unexpectedly or the rear end hooks and proceeds to peel you off of the bars and shoot you off the back of the seat things will get bad really quick. That's just my own personal opinion though. You can't be scared of it but you absolutely must respect it because it will get you hurt or killed if you aren't careful.
  4. To any unsuspecting victim the Banshee's powerband comes on like a 2 dollar whore about to lose her corner to the new girl on the block. She hits you hard and keeps pulling until your eyes are about to roll back in your head and the only thing that brings your vision back into focus is when you've had enough and decide to roll off of her for a second or two. But you know all the while that any time you need one hell of a fix she'll be right there at your command. That's deep shit right there fellas...
  5. If you're just looking for around 60 on pump gas then a hardcore MX port ought to work with a good set of pipes, K&N filter/adapter or pods, +5 timing, and all the other goodies to go. I've heard of a 'shee or two coming from Herr Jugs making that kind of power with stock carbs, shaved head, and the aforementioned mods. I don't think it's too uncommon for that kind of setup but the others' opinions on the 4mil, larger porting, bigger carbs, etc. would make that number a lot easier.
  6. Ready to bash some skid plates this weekend.

  7. BigRed350x nailed it with the porting by Herr Jugs. That's the only way you're gonna be able to "take off fast" and still have good top end. Mikechief's suggestion for more compression was great too. I've got pretty much a stock engine setup with T5s and running my airbox lid with snorkel and I can putt-putt around with the 4-pokes (sport and big 4x4 utility) all day long and still have plenty of top end for me. You've gotta realize though, in most situations there's no reason to have killer top end power when riding trails. Those two mix about as good as oil and water. At least on the trails I ride, most of the time I never, ever get past 3rd gear. I'm running a 13-41 with a 20" rear tire and so far I have no gripes whatsoever about my setup. It has all of the bottom and top end that I'll ever need for what I built it for and what I ride.
  8. Can you show us how? Kinda curious because mine will barely accept a 14... OP sounds like you just need to get out the die grinder and make your own extra clearance for it, just my 2 cents.
  9. Mid 80s three days ago, high-40s and rain next four days...

  10. Anyone know how to fix faded camo plastics? I have a thread in "off topic" if you wanna chime in. HELP!!!

  11. Chariot Ultra High Flow impeller with Engine Ice here, I can poke on the trails all day and it never gets hot.
  12. Sorry dude I just now noticed that you'd replied. The combustion area measures 66.15mm or 2.6 inches. That's inside the o-ring boss in the actual chamber itself.
  13. Dude just do it right and forget about it. Pro Armor chassis skid and PRM swingarm skid, done. You'll never have to worry about the underside again.
  14. Ready to ride again this weekend...

  15. So are all of the joints nice and tight like they should be or will anything need replaced?
  16. Calling dibs on the A-arms for Stacman450 pending pix. He needs some baaaaaaddddd...
  17. [email protected], please put full shipping address and what you bought please...
  18. I think it's got to do with my elevation. The 240s with the snorkel on were really rich so I put the 230s in and it's as strong as I could expect it to be. I could actually go down to 220s if I wanted the plugs to get that nice "mocha" look but I'm playing it safe with this setup for now. I'm sure it will richen up as soon as the summer temps get here. If I were much closer around sea level then I think I would be around 250 or so like you and others have said but I'm at about 1800-2400 right now depending on what part of the county I'm in. I live on a plateau so if I drive about 30 miles east, west, or south the elevation drops considerably.
  19. [email protected], let me know and I'll do everything I can to help. Chris
  20. I've ran delrin with no problems so far. I figure ya they're cheap but as easy as they are to replace if something happens it's no big deal, maybe a 20 min job if you have the correct tools. If I could afford the bearing kits I'd go that route though.
