  1. My favorite part is how the lockup looks. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/banshee%2016%201-2-17_zps9emleowg.jpg
  2. I abused my dunable override for 4-5 years and everything worked fine. That was with atf-type f. So I'm for it. Yet I refuse to use it now since you gotta change that crap all the time.
  3. It will be fine.
  4. Bought one. Blews the lights riding up my street After a couple sets of lights, I'm just going to buy JDS' DC conversion and do it right
  5. Does it ooz(spelling?) lube out at the perch side where you put it in? I have an older different model. It makes a mess. But works. And the we've folks, don't use wd40 for something like that.
  6. In their words, check you local laws. In most states you can't make one legal.
  7. Damn my 18-19lbs I run on my truck is gonna make it go boom
  8. The point of gun control is to take guns away form law acid no citizens. Wake up people.
  9. plus the 4 strokes have far better traction and tq curve.
  10. Practice. Do not spend money on mods to make it wheelie better. All it needs is a more skilled rider. And cover that rear brake! The balance point is beyond what you feel is comfortable
  11. That I don't know nor didn't ask. I think controls 521 build is suppose to test snipers, shearer and custom LEDs Edit* I'd assume sniper don't come on much earlier due to my motor was built for broad fun delivery.
  12. I'm keeping shearer because I don't have a $1000 to spend on a little extra power. He said snipers do make a little more up the face. That doesn't justify me buying because I can not put down even close to the power I have to the ground. Now if the pipes came on 1000 rpms sooner yet still pulled hard on top, I'd consider. Cliffs: snipers make more power.
  13. Excellent post Loco.
  14. Call redline and fine out. I just talked to him earlier about me going to snipers. Im staying with shearers. Booyah.
  15. That's what I kept reading before I laid down the cash. I read and searched every thread I could find. I trust the supporting vendor who ported my juggs. I may experiment later in time with a set.
  16. The cylinders are NOT ported correct? If true, why not just ride the bike as is and discuss with whoever will port the juggs which pipe is better for your goal once ported. Then get those pipes. You may or may not like the pipes until you are ported but you'll have them ready. It also gives you time to maybe pick up a set used for a better deal although I prefer new. I discussed sniper, shearer and Cpi with my builder. Turns out shearer was best for what I do.
  17. Shearers come on later and pull longer in general on your average engine
  18. fancy silicone hoses Hugh pressure cap Water pump cover with a drain plug Crank case sex lube And keep the over flow rest? Good lord.
  19. I totally forgot about cool heads.
  20. Sure brembos provide more control. But for most of us, not needed. That was my only point. We all know people here will waste money on parts they don't need.
  21. Chinese ebay over size radiator. Good metal impeller. Cheap Napa radiator hose. Properly tuned bike. Keep moving. Works for me. I run distilled water and water wetter only so I don't get 50/50 all over the place if I have to pull my clutch cover off. It also doesn't freeze here often.
  22. I don't know technical stuff about it. I tried it. It sucked. I bought good banshee suspension. I liked it a lot more.
  23. ^ shearer on a 10mil trail Mota? Crazy.
  24. Stock banshee brake caliper works fine. Locks up my 22" cst pulse tires. I read it wasn't a night and day difference with the cuevro brembo set up so I kept my 17 year old calipers and bought some cheap tusk pads. Worked fine. I didn't feel the need to waste money. I'm no mx rider.
