People need to pm me info man, i understand cub, serval cub, and super forms of each. Then ill photoshop a big chart with each with info, explanations etc. If someone knows, ill gladly tell them what info i need.
off topic, I sure wish there was a single post or spread sheet to list all aftermarket cylinders, bores, spreads, sizes, whats requires in general to run them etc. Id make one if people pm'ed me the info.
I hope a leak down test was done before the tear down. I know the feeling. I lost a piston with about 6 tenths of an hour last year. All due to not letting the engine warm up enough.
We just invest in a 401k/retirement plane on our own. My current and last major employer matched up to 4% per check. It's very very hard to stay that long in my field of work which is oil field. At my shop/plant where I got into it, they walked out many managers the day I got walked out. Even the guy who hired me on long time ago.
Speaking of foot print, I was surprised my engine over powers my pro wedges. My pulse hook harder. My pro wedges just balloon and barely touch the ground
CST Pulse is what I'm running. Hook harder than anything I've tried.
You can just use a regular air chuck for tires. Then get a cheap tusk low pressure air gauge. Works for me
That's the first time I ever remember reading it should spin by hand. I love this place. Always something new to learn! I will check next time my clutch side cover is off.
I say outlaw any celebrity gossip or news about them. Their jobs is to entertain. If someone cares who they are dating, what they ate or did, they need mental help.
Come to think of it, I really don't sit in gear and Rev it to hell over. I do that in neutral. Or I just rev one and dump the clutch. I used to keep it Rev before a friendly drag race. I'll try this weekend if I ride and see if it creeps.
Does that mean you pull in your clutch lever all the way?
If you dont have the center adjuster in the clutch itself set correctly, it doesnt matter.
I just readjusted my center adjustment and took some weight out of my sling shot. My bike shifts much easier. However i have a pro mod. I took out my override for this new engine. It's basically irrelevant I even mentioned that.
I know. Just letting him know how I do things. Email or leave a voice mail. Give him a week to reply. Also dyno numbers aren't worth much. It's all about power delivery.
If he's doing a job for you and you are paying him, it's his obligation to answer your questions. Otherwise I'd find a new shop. I do give shops a lot of time to answer though
If the person can't give you a good estimate on power, then they probably aren't porting it. They are just boring and honing. If they are porting and can't answer, find another shop. Try a hq supporting vendor.
