  1. What kind of seals does my round house style carrier take? I think I need the sprocket side. I see some on ebay but unsure of what size. I'd like to get both seals. Not bearings.
  2. You still have FB so I can send it without using a third party app? What pictures you and and what angle?
  3. Do you need me to take pictures? I'm in my shed.
  4. Yes, last two videos are. My last big post explains that i did if im not mistaken. Yes the video in portrait sucks. The wife felt bad about it but my fault for not noticing she was doing it. Regardless of video orientation, it will still be the same old footage. I wont jump, do track stuff etc. I just play around like that.
  5. Good job on the carb sync tool. I had to redo mine friday.
  6. Do you have a tap set? There some cheap ones on ebay if not.
  7. You can. just be careful. It's really best to pull the engine or stand the bike on the grab bar(or tip it on the side. Whatever method gives you the best way to work on it. You must go in strait inline with the bore. It's soft aluminum. You can use w40 for lube. Blow out the hole first. Run the tape a few turns. Back out carefully. Spray w40 and blow shavings out. Repeat until done. Unless you have a bur in the first thread, the tap should go in strait. Look at the other bolt for reference if it isnt screwed up.
  8. I only read the last few post. Ill say this....We practice salsa dancing with our cousins here. 2nd cousins, not first. First cousins are trophies for winning. Pretty bad move to go into a dance comp having never danced before. Just saying. Whoever died the guys hair on the right must be blind. Looks great for 2004.
  9. I had the same problem. I had to chase the threads with a tap. I did it laying on the ground with the engine in the frame. Just make damn sure you start the tap strait. You can probably find the tap size here http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/134794-bolt-sizes-and-threads/
  10. edit* damn it looks slow on video. I feel if someone wants to build a 10mil serval, the videos i make will steer them away. It's totally different when you actually ride the thing.
  11. I was aware the sister and first cousin did have a fight. I didnt know it was the cousin who won.
  12. It's only on pump gas +1 on the raptor tie rods. I upgraded on mine. Very beefy compared to what they come with if you dont specify.
  13. I left my camber/caster alone and just ride the thing. It handles fine for my novice skills.
  14. You think so? Thanks. I do too but i didnt think the camera captures sound well. I have an external mic. I unplugged it for the last couple pulls where you can hear it muffles the sound. I had my dad putt putt with it months ago and the bike is LOUD. The big bore pipes can be heard for sure. I'm getting used to it. It's all i can do until i can find some use Cascade CSFX silencers.
  15. I just replaced ALL suspension and chassis bearings on mine for my build last year. I had to buy a bunch of individual bearing/seal kits but it was very simple to buy. I bought one or two that i couldnt use due to atfermarket stuff(a-arm bearings i believe since i have fireball arms). You will need to press the new front hub bearings in. You can beat the old hub bearings out. I'm not sure about stock carrier bearings since i bought a brand new round house style with carrier.
  16. He helped the previous owner pay for him and his sisters wedding
  17. I thought the tears from the people such a motor would beat would cool it off.
  18. At what point you can't dune due to cooling issues? Is it the DM jugs water jacket design or a combo of other things. I find that interesting.
  19. I went to locktite the clutch cover insert plate when i noticed the threads were damaged. I replaced the stock insert screws with a few stainless ones i had left over from the alloy boltz kit. I tipped the bike over, cleaned the threads with carb cleaner then installed. I left it on a jackstand over night so the trans fluid would go into the threads. After today's ride, no leaks. Screws stayed tight. I thought about getting a lockup cover but i really like my stock cover. I also noticed the front brakes didnt work as they should. I rebleed when i got home. We shall see if it happens again. If it does, ill check the fittings and lines. It's full yfz450/raptor700 brakes. Here's a little video from today's ride. This is the 2nd ride on the stock length swing arm. Most pulls were from 3rd, then around mid point, 4th. No clutch or body movement to get the front end up. I was sitting a little forward in a normal position. It's still the typical boring video via Hero 2 and chest mount. My parents were busy and my wife stay home so no video from the sidelines. https://youtu.be/yZK3jqc8_To I have been putting a lot of money into my lightning so it's still naked. I did get some my custom stickers in. A guy on the hq FB group makes them. They are decent quality. I give them a 8 out of 10. I cant complain for $30 shipped on reproductions. Im keeping them in a safe space until i can order plastics http://i.imgur.com/SoHzTTR.jpg The goal was to have oem but replace 350 with 521. I never had the original on my bike so hopefully it's close to the original in size, font, color etc.
  20. Just gotta ride under the power band like the super serval guys do.
  21. It's almost like typing "trail bikes ftw" in every post then that person selling their serval to get into drag bikes. I sure did listen when i did my build
  22. Click my profile to see my Fireball LT's. I read pages of suspension threads and went with what i did.
  23. Every time you buy an American made banshee product, you symbolically adopt a Bald Eagle. You dont hate Merica do you?
