  1. not to be a dick, just trying to help. You can buy a brand new g force +4 axel off rocky mountain for $200. If you are really interested in selling it, try searching on this site to see what others are going for (and how beat up they are) and go from there on a price. Stock stuff doesnt usually sell for a whole lot.
  2. sometimes you can find out his address through paypal. I know when you send money or recieve money, it comes with the name and address. Just a thought. It sucks because one person ruins (or makes everyone else suspicious of everyone else on the board), not saying that ive had a bad experience. The three people who i have had transactions with were awesome, it just makes people a little more uneasy... I hope you get his address, ripping people off shouldnt go without punishment.
  3. that is your problem... happened to me also. Clean out your air filter, and next time, make sure the carbs are outta gas
  4. if your gunnin to re-do the top end for the mods, then i would say tear it down. As of right now, your compression is more than fine for riding, IMO i would ride the hell out of it, and then when its time, do the rebuild. Anything below 100 psi, and you should be looking to rebuild. Stock compression is 130 psi

  6. might want to check your top end out... sounds just like what happened to a buddy of mine this past weekend at pismo (the piston broke a ring from the exhaust port and took a little chunk out of the piston)... it was sputtering and very easy to kick over. If its not your top end, cross that off your list :cool:.

  8. hell yea, by the time we got there around 1 30ish am on friday morning, i couldnt really make out any ok looking places to camp. Next time for sure, hopefully then all our bikes will be running. Those shearers sounded really good on your bike also.
  9. what was your jetting at for the fmf's? altitude also... I know i had to rejet mine when i made the switch a couple weeks ago from fmf's to t-5's
  10. easy off... comes in a yellow can (dont get the sentless stuff, not as strong) but leave it in the sun for 15 minutes, and then spray off... should be squeaky clean
  11. Lots of people on the "banshee" board are not going to be so fond of 4 strokes... thats why its a banshee board. Sure there are members who own 4 strokes, (craptors, 450's and what not), but im willing to bet their shee would come first. O, and I dont know where this was taken from or what had taken place before this... but Jared knows his shit. That much i CAN attest to. 99% (1% being the jokin around) of what Jared puts into this board is very helpful and full of knowledge, and actually helps the guys on here. :happy:
  12. lol, i met casper tho! My buddy's white shee blew the top end the first ride friday morning, on the same ride i got a flat in my rear paddle . But it was a good trip, i went by your guys camp socal, everyone was eatin dinner. Hopefully next time it wont be so crowded and our bikes wont take shits on us... That was the most people i have ever seen there on a thursday night.

  14. Pull off one of the carb bowls first, prep it, tape it off. The pick the color you want, and spray it. If it turns out good, then you can proceed to do the rest of the carbs. If not, youll have one polished carb bowl, lol. Doesnt hurt to try :cool:
  15. i dont believe the carbs get that hot, regular spray paint shouldnt peel or bubble if you get it next to your motor either. so i say regular should be fine. Why would you want to paint your carbs anyway? not trying to be a jackass, just curious
  16. Last time i was out there... about a month ago, there was no river to cross, so high tide isnt that much of a problem. Im heading down thursday afternoon-ish... were parking around the 4th pole, we have a grey-ish tundra, black trailor, my tree road sign lol, 2 blue banshees and a white banshee... should be pretty easy to spot us. Were going to park where theres enough room for everyone who is going!!!! come and camp with us!
  17. With the mods you have already, you should have alot more fun over stock, lol. jbooker is right on with the mods... buy that adv timing plate, they are a good investment... and give you a little more power
  18. ^^^ turbo is turning out the be like that other guy blackbanshee (or however he spelled it). You should flip off a cop... speed through the streets, while doing a one mile or longer wheelie in 5th or 6th gear. You would be my hero... edit: all that said... your shee is still pretty sick tho, im a fan of doing/having things that is unique and that not many people have :thumbsup:
  19. the stock head gasket is copper, but its coated in that black stuff. That makes sense about the impeller being green because i used the prestone "green" antifreeze. never thought about that. So i guess its white then :happy:

  21. I thought the stock impeller was green? at least mine was :shrug: That black material is most definitly the coating on the head gasket... when i was replacing mine after taking a peek at the top end, lots of that black stuff came off on the jug surface... and it was exactly as you described
  22. I just put my t-5's on... i put 280 mains, needle on middle clip and 25 pilots (thanks socalinit :thumbsup:) . I also bought 27.5 pilots but it seems to run fine. I have not done a plug chop yet, but it isnt lacking in any power. I also have a k&n air filter with the lid on. I ran it with the lid on because i wasnt going to do a plug chop and i wanted to be safe from running lean. Every bike will most likely have a different need as far as jetting goes... you can only ask other people with the same set up to get a start... and then the tinkering begins edit: im pretty much at sea level... like 30 something feet above
  23. for 500+ look on e-bay, you could get a nicer set of a arms. Also do a search and find out what people thing of the different a arms before you purchase a pair. I dont know about those, i havent heard many good things about ricky stator... but thats just me
