  5. so nevermind on that drawing... lol. It looked good before i posted it pretty much, just outline the bottle in sheet metal, make some tabs to mount to the stock airbox location
  6. I dont think it would be very hard. I havent made one, but if you still have the stock airbox, you can kinda get an idea from there the holes are to mount the bottle to, and then i would bend up something that looks like this ____ ____ l l l l l________l where the bottle would sit in the middle of that and the tabs would bolt it to where the airbox used to in the back. Not much help, but try it out.
  7. Ya i went to the yamaha store today and bought 280 and 290 mains... since the toomey kit comes with 280's i figured it would be at least a starting point. What about the needle they give you in the package also? do you really need to change out the needle? I know its not your thing... and i havent done it to determine if its mine either lol. Any help would be appreciated, pm me so the thread doesnt get jacked

If you looking for better cooling, change out the water pump for a billit one. The site is slow right now also (so one click on post and it will post it, no need to go overboard, lol)
  11. Well its time to get sell the FMF's Gnarley's, and mounting hardware for the rear silencers. The chrome is still excellent, there is however one little dent on the bottom side that you cannot see when they are on the bike. Here are pics... $250+shipping, or local pickup is cool too. I will be in pismo June 12th-15th also. I can take more pics uppon request also. Thanks Little dent... nothing at all

Well park where there is plenty of parking for everyone and their haulers and such... and semi close to the water for steve and his water needs  lol. Anyway, on my way home, i found this... thinking about putting it on top of the trailor... thought it was funny. You guys should be able to find us for sure. Cant wait!!!!
  14. I hadnt advanced my timing and my pipes were blueing at the base... maybe it was running lean? I just used the buffing/polishing wheel today on my fmf's... and the polishing took out most of the blueing
  15. I have the Thor pants also... nice material, pockets on each side, zip off, and booty cushions on the inside. I have yet to zip them off because when its hot i just wear shorts. I got them from rocky mountain, about 80 bucks. Bigboybanshee... your right, there are so many damn brands and styles! Good luck, let us know what you found
  16. If she was beating him on her bike and his bike... Its a factor of weight (assuming she didnt weigh as much as him) and then it comes down to the rider. I know a dyno reading is not the most accurate thing, but neither is drag racing. The best way (if you can) would be to test both and decide for yourself. All the above is good information, take all of it into consideration when your buying new pipes. Good luck on your decision, either way from stock pipes... it will be a nice difference
  17. For sure man, im looking foward to it (the pipes and the trip) Thanks for the good deal, and really a hassel free sale. I appreciate it

  24. Well i got tired of not having a bumper on my atv, but i didnt want to buy a new one, and there was no way in hell the old stock POS was going back on. So i decided to cut up the old one and make a new one out of it. This is what i came up with, it was pretty easy, i also have a couple other ideas for bumpers that i came up with while doing this one. clean and simple... for now On the bike, nothing was on it before O, and the plastic renew stuff works pretty well, i am impressed with it Tell me what you think! i also want to make some other more custom and one off bumpers, so if you guys have ideas...
