  1. I now have new Skat smoothies on Douglas wheels that I will include. Still $4300
  2. I figured I'd be better off selling all together. If I end up selling the Haulers and not the bike, I'm gonna have to go out and buy more since I might as well use it if I have it. I'm surprised that there is such a lack of interest. Wish I could go lower on the price. Thanks for asking though.
  3. Yeah, I said the same thing at the dealer. "You mean, the 19th year anniversary edition right!" I guess Yamaha's 50th year and the final year of the Banshee came at the same time. Maybe they thought that it would be some type of memorabilia. ALSO--- I will be including a full set of matching riding gear. Bell Helmet (XL used one time), Jersey (L), Pants (34-36), Gloves, Boots (11), and chest protector. $4300 takes all
  4. I have a 2006 50th anniversary edition Yamaha Banshee for sale. I purchased it brand new about 10 months ago. It only has 5-8 hours on it. Within a week after purchasing it, I installed the following mods: TORS eliminator kit Toomey TR6 pipes Dynojet jet kit K&N Intake filters with yellow Outerwear's Billet extended throttle I have too many toys and need to sell. I didn't ride it near as much as I thought I would. It is barely broken in and I am taking a large loss on it. I am asking $4500 firm. I will include a set of Skat Trak Extreme Haulers on Douglas 10'' wheels. I purchased them new from Skat Trak and used them for less than 20 minutes on one trip to Pismo. If you are looking for a Banshee, this one is a steal! You can email me at donleybm@yahoo.com or call me at (559) 804-1586 I am located in Central California No Shipping
  5. Has anyone (from California) purchased a pre 2003 frame and swapped it with their new one to get a California green sticker? I have a 2006 50th anniv. edition with a red sticker. I have the means to purchase an older frame that will be eligible for a green. If I buy the older frame, can I swap my new stuff into it and legally obtain a green sticker?
  6. I'll take it. Not sure exactly what advancing the timing does, but I'll try it. Send me a PM with your info and I'll mail you a check. Thanks
  7. I grew up on three and four wheelers and had a 1999 banshee years ago and loved it. Eventually, some friends of mine convinced me that I was missing out because I didn't ride on two wheels like all of them so I sold it and picked up a nice YZ426. I rode it for a couple of years and had fun, but was never as comfortable as I was on four wheels. Soooooooooooooooo...... here's what I brought home a couple of months ago. 2006 50th Anniv. Edition I rode it in circles in the driveway for about ten minutes with my son (not exactly a proper break-in), then I parked it and started spending money on it! So far I've added/changed the following: Toomey TR6 pipes (Thanks RagunCajun) Toomey 2:1 intake w/outerwear Air box removal Relocated coolant overflow Dynojet jet kit (waste of money) I only used the needles. 310 mains 27.5 pilots 1.5 turns out T.O.R.S. removal kit Idle screw kit Clear radiator lines (not too sure how well they will hold up) Race cut fenders Skat Trak 8 paddle extreme haulers More to come... I left my 99 completely stock and enjoyed the hell out of it. Hopefully, I'll see a fair improvement over stock with these mods. I haven't done a plug chop yet, but will as soon as I have the time. I am hoping that I am right on with the jetting. I did my homework on that and think I'll be pretty close. I really debated cutting my brand new fenders. I think it looks good now that it's dne. Now, If I could just find time to ride! Any suggestions as to what should come next? I have a habit of spending a WHOLE LOT more time modding than riding. Don't even get me started on my wife's Rhino or the toy hauler. I can't even recall how many hours I've spent doing whatever to those!! Oh well, I guess as long as this is all I'm addicted to, I'm good........ right???
  8. Not sure. I know I've seen it before around here. The guy at Home Depot looked at me like I was an idiot when I asked for it. Oh well, as long as it doesn't catch on fire!! Thanks for your help.
  9. Thanks for the reply. It is standard home fiberglss insulation but it is yellow. I'll remove the paper backing and try it. They had no pink insulation at all. Checked Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-mart. I assume it doesn't have to be pink??
  10. Looked everywhere for Pink Panther insulation. No one seems to carry it anymore so I got some regular ol' yellow household insulation. Will this work??
  11. The T6 pipes were exactly as described and in good condition. The packaging job was one of the best I've seen! A lttle elbow grease and these things will be as good as new. Thanks for saving me some $$ since I didn't have to go buy brand new ones.
  12. Iguess I'll chime in since I'm the buyer. Don't worry about the bolts and washers. I'll use the stock bolts. If they don't work, I'll find some that do. As far as the intake boot clamps, it sounds like I can use the stock ones so keep those. I definately need the rear hangers, if possible, though. Thanks again.
  13. They had a yellow and black 50th anniversary edition on their lot along with those other two last week. Somehow it ended up in my garage!! $6200??? Nope. They got them at the beginning of this month. Mine was assembled on the 12th. They just want you to think that they are going to give you some great deal. You can get them pretty much anywhere that they are still available for around $5200 plus tax, lic, etc... They won't last long around here.
