Sent my jugs, crank, and head out to Kevin this friday morning. Im getting a dune/hillshooter port and the whole top end rebuild. Along with my crank trued and welded, and the head decked. Here are some pics of the before of the intakes, exhaust and transfers. Pretty nasty looking... Cant wait to get them back and put everything together! Jamie

If you could, that would be awesome! Im getting my bike ported by Kevin Herr... and i wanted to run pods. Lemme know when you can get them, im sending my jugs out this week, so no huge hurry. Thanks, Jamie

I think your making the right decision

Would you have any for the stock carbs? because i would take them off your hands right now

I would say, just get the rebuild kit. No sense in taking everything apart to replace one thing. Best just to have the piece of mind that everything is new IMO... thats what im doing... that and getting it ported
-
thats really sweet. I was going to go with an esr one, but for another 20 bucks i can get that one... pretty sweet good find

Im sendign my jugs to Kevin Herr of Herr Jugs to get ported, im going to have my crank trued and welded because its out, and will make the bottom end more reliable. If you have a stock motor with pipes and a k&n, i wouldnt worry about it

I will check out the tank for sure, because I know it ran fine when I started it up, but didn't run as well on the top end. That would explain alot. When I took the carbs apart I totally disassembled them and cleaned everything, so I highly doubt its the carbs. My jetting was right on also because it ran great at pismo which is at sea level, and glamis is a little below sea level. Thanks, I'll check them out

Washburn: I will check out the spark, i didnt think to to that at the dunes. Flatt & Shee: once i cleaned out the carbs the first time, they were fine. The next day when i pulled off the carbs again, and took them apart, they were clean of any sand and grit, but i sprayed them out again with break cleaner. And everything was hooked up correctly, (i dont have a climbers, but i have done it enough times, lol) I took everything apart when i got home, and everything seems to be fine. The cylinders look good, and the pistons are fine. Nothing is up with the carbs. Im going to get some motor work and porting done on it just because its apart, but i want to find out what the problem is/was so when i put it back together it doesnt happen again. Thanks for the input guys

Just got back from Glamis a couple days ago, it was awesome... The weather was nice, and i had a great time riding the dunes. It was my first time out there are i am more than excited to make the drive back again. I also ran into a problem out in the dunes. The first and second day my bike ran great no problems whatsoever. The third day, somehow sand got into the left side carb, and the slide got stuck. So i pulled the carbs off, cleaned everything really well, and put them back on. Started it up, and it ran good until about 5 min into the ride, when it got hot, it started to run like crap again. So i made it back to camp, and pulled everything apart, air box, cleaned carbs again, pulled the reeds off, and took a look at the cylinders and pistons because we thought some of the sand made it into the chambers. But everything was fine, so i put everything back together and started it up again. But it was never the same, it doesnt have any power where the powerband is supposed to be, and falls on its face when you let off the throttle. Being that i just got home, i pulled it apart, and everything looks fine. We checked the compression at the dunes after getting back, it was 110 and 115 (with the throttle wide open, just getting back from a ride), While its kinda low, i dont think it could be causing my problem. What do you guys think?? could it be the cdi? Im open to all options and opinions. Because now that its apart im going to get it ported, crank trued and welded, and new pistons and everything. I just want to make sure that the rebuild takes care of the problem. Sorry for the long post, let me know what you guys think. Ill have pics of the trip tomorrow or monday sometime. -Jamie

I was never doubting that it didnt handle, because i have ridden it, and it handles sooo much better than mine, its not even funny. I knew about the 250r from last time we talked. Im just giving you a hard time man, no worries. I think that if you cant sell it, you need to sell me the a arms and shocks

He left the kick starter on there... I guess its a good backup if the electric one doesnt do the job... Or maybe it has soooo much compression that you need both (with the cam and all, who knows) :geek: -
Banshee fit in bed with camper shell on it?
BansheeKid15 replied to bonzai272's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I would think it would be possible if you bent your handle bars down to fit it in each time. thats a good 5 or so inches (i think, im at school, and the banshee is home). Just a thought :geek: -
Some say function over form... but that is damn ugly.

You think up drawings of penis' in your spare time?? ... sorry i had to Theshee does awesome stuff tho, if i didnt thrash mine soo much from riding, i would have mine done

Pretty much in total disbelief... i cannot believe how fucked up the human race can be. At least fucking kill them first, i mean shit. I had to turn it off when they started to rip it off it. I cant believe it. As stated above, i would gladly do jail time to kill all those bastards. Maybe hang them from trees, and poke holes in them with a pitch fork, then slam them on their heads. I have no problem with hunting... but that shit is just wrong on so many different levels

Haha, well its a whole different story if were talking about that. Haha.
