  1. Go to this web site www.reserveamerica.com You have to make resurvations at pismo because it is a state park. They do have rangers and shit that partol the beaches. The have a cap on how many camping spots they can sell for a weekend, its usually 1000 spots. The reason for this is that the environmental assholes (sierra club) are trying to shut pismo down because some fuckin bird that lives there. Now pismo is only open from poll 4 to poll 8 for riding. My dad says he remembers when it went to poll 20 something when it was back in the day. There are rails and trucks that show up there on the weekends. Most of what your hearing is people that go out to comp hill (or comp bump as we like to call it because it is a pussy ass hill) and watch the trucks and rails, they go out to see stupid shit happen ( we do it occasionally) because most people party out there, get shit faced and ride around. As for rideability, like any place it does get kinda chopped up during the weekend. You will be able to ride and still have fun and dune. Its a fun place to go.

Like everyone has stated, play it safe with the new axel... same thing happened to my a arms a while back where i stripped the threads on 2 a arms, i put a die on there and it would have worked... but for 100 i bought new a arms and now i can ride and not have to constantly worry about it. At least buy it for peace of mind...
  3. LOL, yea sorry about the mods thing. I have FMF with power core 2's and a K&N filter. Im looken to sell my fmf's and get some toomy's in the near future also. Thanks for the help.
  4. Thanks, how much was the difference in power? Is it noticable? I also have a adv timing plate that i will be installing also.

  6. Pismo is pretty much your option... Galmis and Dumont (since they are deserts, become extremely hot). Since pismo is a beach it stays cool, the 4th of july is a huge weekend down there, so if you plan to go down, make sure you make resurvations online because they will be sold out when you get down there.
  7. Hey guys, Early next week i will be ordering a noss cool head for my shee. My question is which domes should i get? 1. I ride at sea level (pismo, glamis) 2. I dont know what the compression is right now, but im going to find that out this weekend 3. I was thinking about the 21cc domes (On noss' website they said for a fresh rebuilt 21cc domes would give you 156 compression... i know its approx but it gives me an idea) 4. Do i really want that much compression? Will it make that big of a difference in the ride? Thanks, Jamie
  8. Hey guys, I think its time to step up to some t-5's. I have FMF with PC2's, no dents or anything (the chrome is great on them). I actually just finished using our new buffing wheel and chrome compound on the before the last trip. They still have an awesome shine to them, but i will make sure they shine. I dont know what they would be worth... heres a pic There are still a little bit of riding pants stuck on them as you can see from this pic, but i will try again to get it off. They come with the silencers, but they were not put on yet in this pic, i will have some tomorrow.

    Hey guys, me and some buddies are getting a trip together to pismo because we get out of school before the weekend of May 26 and 27th. I dont know the exact days and such, i will let you know when we figure it out. I know this is way in advance, but i just want to see who wants/can go.

  14. on my banshee i raised the shifter up a notch. if was wierd at first i always kept on hitting between the gears and it wouldnt catch and it would just rev..,. i got used to it and now everything is cool. I know that some people have bought longer shifters and/or modified their (welding a piece in).
  15. haha 45k is cheap comapired to what he had it posted on their the first time. if i recall right it was a buy it now price for 150,000. Its cool, but isnt the point of an atv to ride dunes or tracks? (it is for me anyway) if you want something street legal go buy a street bike!

  17. 1. it allows more coolant to enter into the head, cooling it off better 2. yes, depends on what domes/altitude/octane 3. depends 4. by enterchanging the domes for higher/lower compression 5. yes... i would buy a coolhead. I dont know what you have on your bike or dont have, so post your mods and people will help you out.

  19. It could be doing it because as the coolant warms up, it expands and if you filled it to the very top... it will over flow a little bit to make room. Is it the first time you started it up since the rebuild?
  20. I just put on an UM skid plate, it fits nice and is made out of some thick gage... Dont know much about the other brands
