  1. Hey guys, for those of you who live in the bay area (or close by) i was wondering if you had any experience with some of the powdercoat and chroming places around here. I have been looking for a shop that does work that will meet my requirements. Bascially i dont mind paying as long as they do a kick ass job. I am looking to get my frame (and some small things) powdercoated and my a arms and swinger chromed. If you have had any experience with a shop, good or bad, please let me know. Thanks, BK15
  2. When me and my father were putting my 66 nova together, we found an older kerosene (sp?) heater that he had back in connecticut. It still worked so we fired it up. We have a 3 car garage, while i dont know the sq footage, i think its a pretty standard 3 car garage. Anyway, we fired it up and left it in there for about 30 min before working in the garage, took most of the cold out of the air ( i could work with a long sleeve shirt on). It was cheep and the fuel is cheep also. Just a thought.
  3. So you must be hating your self right now, because by keeping the on going retarded thread alive by making a whole new post to try to justify your juvinile actions, it shows what kind of person YOU are. You say if you have nothing positive to say, then dont say it. But there you go again by calling people "fuckin losers"... treats over the internet are as pointless as trying to argue your way out of doing something stupid and thinking its the best thing in the world (i.e. your vid) Have a nice day! I would recomend doing this :: and then this :shoothead:
  4. DAMN! im not going to be able to buy, ive been looking for a 150cc banshee for ever!!! its too bad that i need it in an automatic. :: I cannot believe this guy. is he for real? :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  5. haha, yea i went to pismo (keep in mind my banshee only has pipes and a K&N filter) with 3 of my buddies. One has a 660 that is really a 720, a yfz 450 thats really something like a 480, and a blaster (200). We were just cruzing down the beach and the kid on the blaster decided to get on his a little harder, so i did also... lemme tell you that a 350 2 stroke is alot faster than a 200 2 stroke. Im not being a dick, thats just how it goes. I have seen some 250r's that are pretty quick also, and you never know what people are running on their bikes either, and if you ask, you will never get a straight answer...
  6. if your looking for really tough paint thats like powdercoating but you can brush it on and it does not cost as much as powdercoat... try POR15... it stands for paint over rust, me and my pops used it on the bottom of my 66 nova when we were restoring it and 2 years later, it still looks as good as it did the first day i painted it
  7. I was thinking of doing that with my banshee.... my only question is wont the white powdercoat frame turn kind of a off white or a gross white color after a little while???
  8. Im a bit new to atv's when it comes to modifying stuff... and i have a stupid question, are those prices (i know they are going up) for the works shocks for the banshee for one shock or a pair? Im going to guess its for one because all suspension is pretty expensive, but i would like to know for sure. Thanks, BK15
  9. I got tired of tightening mine also, so i tightened the hell out of them and put 2 spot welds to connect the two nuts.. never had problems since, and if i need to replace them i just take a grinder with a flap disk and remove the two little welds... whatever works
  10. I have scat traks for both front and rear on my banshee and i love them, they look up real nice and make for a nice ride, i have a friend who has sand-gecko's and he said (once he rode my bike) that he would never get the gecko's again... i dunno tho, just a personal preference i guess.
