  1. I watched the movie, but the bastard did fall, wtf?
  2. hot damn now we are talking. If i had the room I would build a walkin oven and spray booth. I've been thinking a of building a larger oven, but I would have to weather proof it and leave it outside. We have a couple of austin healey sprits that we are restoring, and I want to pc their frames, so the oven would be pretty big. I've got a couple more parts that are getting close to be coated I'll post some pics when I'm done. I did a buddies valve covers for his nova, and they turned out great considiering the pieces of shit he gave me to work with.
  3. It makes sence. It is doing the same thing the plates does, but it does have the a larger possiblity of exploding if installed wrong.
  4. Sounds like a lot of work to have a bike that is going to be slower then a lot of peoples play bikes. :ermm:
  5. I'm very pleased with it. It is about the same color as the yz blue, but is still very chrome like in it's apperance. It took me a couple of tries to find the right colors I was after, and now that I have found it I have a virgine 2002 banshee to do.
  6. Here is my spray booth and oven, very hightech  The spray booth is the best thing you can make if you are DIY person. It uses a house a/c filter and a shopvac to filter the air. It has made the whole process a lot easier and therefore a lot more fun.
  7. These I have posted before, but I'll put them in here anyways. They are mirror red single stage by eastwood.
  8. Here are some that I did today. It is black chrome with 2 coats of translusent candy blue. Both powders came from columbia powders.
  9. I figured I would start a thread about some of my powdercaoting projects that I have done/started. I have over 3 bikes worth of stuff I want to powdercoat and I thought this would be an easy place for me to track my progress. Leave comments if you like.
  10. when a cable sticks you can feel it in your hand because when you let off the cable will go slack (if it is sticking in the slide) or the the lever or twist won't return(usually if it is the cable that is sticking) If the the rpms fall really slowly or if it takes very little amount of gas to get it to rev way up you are most likly lean. Also if it only happens when you turn right it is because your cable is getting hung up.
  11. is the cable sticking or is it reving without you doing anything?
  12. I remember someone saying the shear inf and oof only had about a 2-3 hp difference, both were sb though, so bb could be a different story.
  13. Whre do you live, there might be a hq member close that will let you borrow some garage space untill you figure it out.
  14. I voted for ya Beau!!! One worse would be a douche nozzle, that way everyone would know he was a stuck up cunt. hahaha
  15. on a side note has anyone used any of the atv tire romovers that bolt on the wheel like what rmatv has?
  16. just put a round sticker over their logo. a small one that says "I hate Flatbillers" That way if anyone gets down low enough to read it you can kick them in the ass.
  17. wow the arms lasted 5 hard years and then had a failure. Call the coast gaurd these must be the worst products out there. I have a set of ff in chromoly and I doubt I'll ever break them. I hear just as many expensive arms fail as I do cheap ones. for the most part people are not on the track everyday beating on them, and if they are they probably have nicer arms and they have probably had to replace something on them too. I don't like the hiem at the knuckle, but I have smaller ones on my truck, so I trust these just fine.
  18. I would put a 13t on the front and leave the back one the same. I did that it it was a lot better for the track.
  19. Where are you at, if you are close I let some old pipes go cheap. I just don't want to ship anything.
  20. I have found that it is easy to just use your finger to bleed the system. If you think the bubble is in the hose. Take the hose off and pinch the banjo head between your fingers and raise it up as high as you can and then bleed the system like you would normally do except you "open" your fingers to allow the bubbles to pass. This might sound dumb, but it is the easiest way I have found to bleed the system with a pesky buble in it wihtout using a vacum. This method is great for bubles suck in the mastercyclinder. Another way is if you have a spare top cap you can drill a hole in it and insert a airline connector and then pressurize the system with about 10psi and the crack the bleeder open and the bubbles comr right bout, just watch you fuild level. This way works really good, but you have to have another cap or a piece of metal you can put some rubber on the clamp to your resivor. I'll see if I can find a picture of what I'm talking about, because I probably made no sence.
  21. the adjustable main you described is a power jet and most people that run alcky use them, but you can use them for gas.
  22. Reno 911 has some good shit every once in awhile.
