  1. I've done this and it works great clicky
  2. I thought everyone would like to know why their riding spots are getting closed. The first bird took the 13500 arces and made it 1500 and the second bird took some more. Personally I think pismo is a pretty shitty place to ride, it might have been better back in the day, but now it you can cover the entire park in about 20min and you can climb eveything out there in a stock blaster. I prefer sand mtn, but it would be a long drive for a lot of you guys, but having a real hill to challage you is great. That being said when we all going to pismo? Endangered or Threatened Species: California least tern (Sterna antillarum browni); Federal Status: Endangered, 1970 (looks like a fucking seagul to me) Western Snowy Plover (Charadrius alexandrinus nivosus); Federal Status: Threatened, 1993
  3. I use a shop vac that pulls through a house a/c filter, that way all my powder is caught on the filter and is easily re-claimed or disposed of. The filter also slows and diapates the air flow so it doesn't suck too much. I think it cost me $15 to build and is worth ten times that when it is time to clean up. I think there are some pics of it in my other thread, if not I can post some up.
  4. They don't mix, but they make a really cool color of their own. I put all my reclaimed colors togetehr and have a wierd color to coat shit that you'll never see. The reason I started to coat was because I had an oven I didn't want to haul to the dump. I went and bought a cheap gun ($50) and some crap powder and tried it out. I did a shit load of random shit then bought nice powders and started doing important shit. The nicer guns are worth the money, but if you want to get started the harbor frieght guns work just fine. I also have a sand blaster and I built a spray booth that re-claims.
  5. they are going to hold water in and cause it to rust, but if you bring the bike up to temp after you wash it then it should dry the heat wrap out and possible cause it not to rust.
  6. I think I would need 2 beers after the 40 hour drive
  7. That would be one hell of a drive.
  8. Have you heard anything new on this?
  9. and one performance comment usually is that they give you one more place for a air leak.
  10. the only problem with those are that you can't run nerf bars, but if you a drag guy or don't use nerfs itisn't a problem. pro armor sells nerfbars witht he pegs attached, and the pegs sit lower, even if they don't say it on their page, they do when you put them on.
  11. They don't go back to 87, but they might have reused the color between 99-08 somewhere else. The prices are high though.
  12. I understand that you are in africa, and might not want to, but have you called them? A lot of companies don't answer emails, because people will get discouraged and give up, which saves the company money. I would call them and give them a sob story about where you live and how good their are are supose to be, and then tell them about all the troubles they have given you. They seem like a large company that should stand up to their products, but after 7 months I kinda don't expect them to give you anything (maybe don't tell them how long you've had them). If that is the case find a good set of ball joints from somewhere else and inspect them before every ride. good luck
  13. Toss a picture up, it might help sell this thing.
  14. HotCarl

    check it

    that gave me a laugh
  15. Hahah she is out selling you right now.
  16. Theregoes his mod budget. IF you are looking for air tools go get some harborfrieght tools. they are cheap and will be enough to do what you are doing. I wouldn't buy any torque wrenches or comp tester there, but I have used one of their cheap impacts for 5 plus years. If it does ever crap out It cost me $15 (although I do have some nicer ones I use the cheap-o one the most)
  17. blah blah blah color man i need a new seat cover
  18. In the states, they would just let you run for president.
  19. Everyone crashes on their last attempt. when we go snow boarding or riding etc I make it a point never to say or tell myelf this is the last one, because that seems like when most people crash.
  20. I sent you a pm, but didn't get a reply. Lets talk deal
  21. I pretty sure I can out run a rhino. I would bet most 300 ex's can beat a rhino.
  22. E85 seems easier for the normal person to buy, because they can buy what they need. I havn't found where you can buy meth or alk in small quanities. BigRed350x: how do you get the fuel from that tank to the carbs? do you just use the fuel pump? or is it high enough to gravity feed. I was thinking of doing something like that, but I don't want to put afuel pump on.
  23. It is just like anything else, you'll buy the gun then a couple of hundred dollars is powders and some tape and plugs, then a sand blasting cabnet, then you build a spray booth, then you want a better gun and a better oven. I'm just letting you know you have offically started a new hobby. It is a lot of fun and when you do it for the first time you are like "WTF that was too easy, that might be easier then spray paint"
