  3. I have a banshee and yfz450 and I wouldnt mind kicking someone! I didnt read the whole thread so I prob missed something. Either way, we are all the same, we need to all get along. I need to re do a cylinder that was JUST redone because the douche didnt clearance my PV and my rings ended up touching it just enough to force them out in other spops and wear the hatch out and drop 20psi. Is a 400grit fine enough, and with the ports all over do I have to use a large car hone? It seems the dirt bike/atv/motorcycle ones would mess up crossing the ports...... and should I use cutting oil or can I do it dry with some wd 40 on the walls or something. And what is a good way to chamfer? I dont think they did that either.

  15. what do you need pictures for? tamers are a good hardpacked terrain tire. In slightly looser areas or on/off road use ppl like to grove em or give them like a paddle action, but that is like tuning for YOUR specific riding condition. Some one elses cut could suck for your app.
  16. toomey t5 t6, pro circs, dmc alien, pretty much any fmf, pt mids are all basic pipes for rec riding.
  17. 2 stroke motors stay in a higher rpm range, and the cylinders have less "meat" to them. longer 4 stroke motors like a raptor 700 should last quite a long time, were as the 450 prob only last 20-30 hrs longer than an eqivelent 2 stroke motor. As in piston/ring material, filter type, ect..

  19. a bore and a piston is a bore and a piston. banshee pistons are a little cheaper than 4 stroke pistons, but you have 2 cylinders to bore. They are about the same. 2 strokes need top end builds more often, but are alot more simple to take apart and put together. IMO they both have pros and cons, but pretty much even out any way you look at it. As mentioned above, 2 stoke motors cc per cc make more power also.
  20. Almost every time Ive had to take one out, I have to cut the swing arm off. they wouldnt come out for nothing.
