  2. well, yea. it cost me I think about 2400 after everything to build it. at the time they werent selling as cheap as they are now, so that was the only way I could get one. Ended up taking about 2.5 months. this is the same quad believe it or not after a couple years lol...... its nice to take everything apart, becaus ethen you can detail it. say the carrier, hubs, ect to go with it. If you want to do it sloppy, you can wrap the motor pipes of and all, disconnect the a arms tape of the rear and all that but thats shit work.
  3. ok, when I got my first banshee, it was just a frame. I bought a frame and part by part put it together. Ive never had a manual. If I can assemble an entire quad not seeing where anything went and ordering all the missing parts, I think you should be able to figure it out. It takes an hour to pull a banshee apart. This is what I made from all individually ordered parts........ lol nothing like it is now to easy, just pull it all apart. Maybe leave the steering stem.
  4. yea Im not to far from Miami. I dont know where to go yet. Id say somewhere around here cos there is a ton of riding area everywher, but its going to be all wet. Throw a date up in the air guys, I work for myself, so I can move my own schedule around. would like in the next few weeks tho, maybe 1st or 2nd weekend of July?Seems like croom would be most promising.
  5. most likely its just a waste and wont make it run better, maybe worse. with a 21cc dome you sould be safe with 93 pump gas. at sea level your going to make around 150-158psi fresh, and lower at higher elevations, so,.... yea. If you wish to bump your compression up with smaller domes, then you may need it.
  6. all of your tools, all the fluids, and a second quad. chain masterlinks flywheel puller filter cleaner plugs (spark and tire) tip ties/tape tires on rims Ive learned to carry and extra stator/coil chain lube goggle tear offs all your extra nuts n bolts a hot chickidy a camera to show us your runs and the chick above flashing the camera. like fouledout said, just take everything! if you leave it, youll need it.

  11. last ones I sent where around $80. wrapped em in a hefty garbage bag, with about 2" of insul foam on the bottom and then filled the box with sinch foam and taped it up. Next day its solid and safe, surrounds the shape of the motor and is tough.
  12. yea I know this guy that has a killer +3/elka front end for that thing! how you been feelin? Im still recoverin after 3 weeks now, but next weekend Im getting back on, and if joe pulls through, Imma ride w him this weekend. Did you ever have to get stiches or anything?
  13. uhm yea a 4mm with mx porting and stroke adj would be a very good move for mx. seems there are alot of mx questions lately, but I never see banshees on the track.
  14. Im guestimating about 7-750. But I dont know yet. thats not with a pv tho. Id hardly make anything selling them that cheap. if someone already makes them then I guess I will just make one myself. Im most certain they will need tuned, every last one. thats not something you can just bolt on.
  15. Ok, Ive been doing research and discovered a way to make a fuel injection system for a banshee motor no matter size. 35mm throttle body and up. this is a single part,. not double. Mine is going to be 39mm. The intake will also be a flow tested style not so tight as a trinity style Im going to make out of welded aluminum or fiberglass. The harness will all be changed out, programable cdi to tune to your own specs. This will eliminate jetting issues, carb sync issues, fitment with larger carb/filter setups in the way of levers and pipes, better fuel economy, great atomization, and better over all performance. Im wondering how many people would pay for something like this and how much you would be willing to pay honestly. Once I get this all together, I might think about making a large production of em, but I want to see if its worth it. If it does well, Ill be doing it for many other quads too. along with this, Id like to make an updated electronic servo powered PV kit and/or mechanical for these too on the same harness.

  17. yes I have everything for it to work. Ive run it quite a few times. its a passion racing 12 port. If you have any woods, trailes, sx, ect rec riding to do, its is the way to go.
  18. for fuck sake just screw a few pointed non self tapping drywall screws into it and pull on them at the same time with pliers and it comes right out. If its REALLY in there melt the frikin thing with a torch.

RZ shift forks, YPVS rz powervalve cylinders with passion racing 12 port, +4mm hotrods crank, wiseco 65.5mm 795`s, Milled head, clearanced for stroke, 182psi, burns vp 110/93 @ 102 octane, lightened flywheel, billet clutch, fast plates, billet impeller, 200w rz stator, rocket pipes, boyeseen 2 stage carbon fiber reeds, 34mm mikuni tm flatslide carbs, pods n outers, 14 tooth. Wheelbase is -1" over stock, 52" wide outside to outside of tires of bike, and 50" wide at rear. -2 swinger. +4 g-force. douglas front, hyper rears. +3 a arms ties, braided lines. Elka pig rez shocks. std travel. I wouldnt use much of this. My hypers are goin on the yfz. I may swap the yfz front to the shee and sell the front end off for a long travel set on the yfz. most of the motor would go if not all. Id want a taller stroke and bore. the whole rear would go. would prob burn meth. instead of gas. ect ect.
  25. dude, take a plug out, have someone hold it in place, hold the throttle wide open and kick it over and over really fast as if running like 15 times with the coil disconnected. then the same other side. those hold in place ct`s are garbage, but as long as its sealed very well, it may work.
