  4. yea with the av I wont mix 93. just with the vp cos its 110. Im at 182 psi now so I think 100 will suffice. thanks for the inputs
  5. 1 drain plug. 1 filler cap. you will hear 50 different types of oil to use on here. I run bel ray gear saver in winter (all 4 weeks of it) and regular 80w gear oil the remainder of the year and like it more over everything else with less slippage and less plate stick. changes depend on how often you ride, how much wear it sees on plates, and oil used. a magnetic drain plug will make changes less frequent. I change mine maybe every 20-25 hours on the banshee and castrol 10w-40 every 10 hours in the yfz450.
  6. hey, I know VP is a much higher quality fuel to use,. but its going to cost me nearly $75 to run 15 gallons in my quad. I just checked the price at the small airport near me and the self service is $2.96 a gallon for 100 octane and like .50 more for higher. So 5 gallons would run me about $15 vs $70 for VP110 and 93. Is it worth it to just save with the AV gas? I think the 1/8 mile track may have VP as well which is about an hour drive away, Im going to see what they have to offer, but the airport is like 10 min away if even. At the powersports shop, its between $55-75 for 5 gallons depending on type.
  7. twin carbs fit when they where 28mm, but the 34`s I have the pods is in the way of the pipe. so I want to trade pipes so the pipe goes over like the highs have or 2-1. Id really prefer to change pipes not carbs, but Im just tired of the problems with this thing. Ive been on it like 3 time the last year.
  8. If I find some pt highs, Ill sell them so I can buy the other, but I dont want to be without pipes and they are both hard to find. I cant just use whatever cos I have rz cyls. If I find some, Ill let you know. Thanks Shannon
  9. this is intake boot to filter and outers, 2 mikuni tm flatslide carbs 34mm I want to trade for a 2 into 1 setup with a 38-40mm carb with filter and outer. I dont want a 2-1 setup, but unless someone trades my pipes this is the only fitment I can make. I will include my cable and twist with a cable and thumb/twist as well.
  10. I have a full set of rockets I want to trade for a full set of PT high revs. They are in good shape, no dents, no discoloration at head. Good chrome, not show condition, but nice........ mirror effect on cell phone? this is the shape they are in as of now.
  11. k, Id like some opinions on a ballpark for my jetting. I have a 391cc rz passion 12port, with +4mm, makes 182psi @ sea level with milled head, boyeseen dual stage carbon pros, pods, 34mm mikuni tm flatslides, rockets. When I ran 30m carbs with the 385cc prior to rebuild a 370 main was lean, and I didnt get a chance to figure out what it was before getting these 34`s. Trying to guess a roundabout size on pilots and mains. was thinking 30/410ish?

  13. you took the boost bottle off and put the stock crossover on because it wasnt jetted for the boost bottle. That is a goood idea! Im suprised it didnt blow that thing up already with all the extra boost.

That reminds me, when I first went to get some performance oil (I used castrol 2 stroke my very first tank) I went to a dealership and got some castor927 cos the guy said that was the best. So I got it and asked what a good tranny oil is to use as well,... he told me to use the castor 927 for that too at $26n change a bottle lol. I went with the belray instead. Stupid ass. Bet he still has a job too.
  16. damn, it would take me awhile to build one with a trackhoe. maybe you can rough it all out then rent a dozer for a day. Will make a world of difference. At least an articulating loader. Then you can move more material around fast and drag bucket a flat surface on the jumps and whole track. It will take out trees and if you have spare time it will run cars over too Not to mention you want a hard hill. when you build it up in layers, you can run it over with the machine to compact it all to last a longer time as you go. If you can use those trees for structure under/in your hills to prevent weathering away. Not ideal though if your going to change it often though. as you go, ride it, and make sure its what you want.

  19. Im sure some of those numbers are true, though there are alot of guesses, and bs. Ill be putting mine on the dyno in a few weeks with a new top end on it. Im hoping to hit low to mid 80`s.

  21. Im going to run VP red/93 @ 101-103 in mine at 182psi. 105 in a 160lb motor is overkill by far!

  23. with castor927 you should be mixin like 40-60:1. you dont need to use so much of it, thats why its expensive for you. that is all I use. Klotz is a really good alternative for less money.
  24. Most of the time when shit goes wrong, its because the person who works on it is a retard. MOST of the time my quads have broke was because I did something wrong. I beat the ever living shit out of my banshee and it sits broken more than it runs. ITs def easier to work on than any 450 though. My 450 is the broken banshee backup.
