  1. yea, well,... Im going to not only do a backflip,. Im going to do a front flip and back flip,...... at the same time
  2. the cool thing about the noss head is it looks good for 1, 2 runs slightly cooler helping prevent detonation, and you can trade domes for racing or std riding, plus if you ever get a stroker crank, you can trade cut domes. As for reeds vf3`s are nice, but for $45 on ebay you can pick up decent set of carbon fiber reeds that work almost just as well. so it depends on what you want for looks, performance now, or later on. the perfomance gain with just 21 cc domes will not be a great increase, but its there. I know a 21cc dome makes 157psi at sea level which is safe with +4 timing and 93 gas,....at sea level. Not to mention they cost about the same.
  3. I just left mine about 6 inches long. But It should tee off another vent hose near the rear of the engine up by the rear mount. the 2 are supposed to tee together and vent up near the radiator/handlebars. I think thats how its installed by Yamaha. I built mine from ground up too, so mine was never hooked up.
  4. prob like 25/310-320.
  5. of course they are. thats all I ever use cos Im familiar with them. other brands use different numbers on an equivelent size and Im to retarded to keep track of all that. I think alot of old schoolers mix em up because the RZ motors ran 28mm stock the banshe emotor originated from, and those where taken alot for upgrades. You can stll find those pos rz 28`s on ebay all the time. If those are 26mm, 350 main/ 25 pilot is most likely right on with the porting, pods, and t5`s. I wouldnt recommend runnint it with 300`s. Im getting a job next week as a mechanic out in te cape,. so if you do decide to part with that 2-1, Ill prob take it, or atleast the intake part of it. Since your in a machine shop, you can prob bore those to nearly 27-27.5mm anyways for free.
  6. I got a pair of 350 mains if you want em thats prob just right for your setup. somewhere I have 360, but I dont think youll need em that big. The 370 are in my carbs now, which are to small for my setup anyways. but 350 should be about right. what are you doin with the 2 into 1?
  7. depends on how fast ya go? :ninja:
  8. hmm razr stealing more design,. not suprising.
  9. I will never ever again by rm or rs stators!!! Stock work just fine.
  10. Id like to know what the perfomance advantages/disadvantages between these models. I was thinking about purchasing some D slide to see what they wher elike since Ive have both the others. I liked the reponse I got from flats. It would seem to me the resistance would be less with the round style. but more efficient fuel atomization, what a d slide does in comparison,... I dont know.
  11. Give me a few days to make up a diagram or get a printer cable to copy/scan the one I already have. ebay is where you will find most all you need, but it may take some time to get a collection because rz`s production stopped in the 80`s. zeelectronics also has some newer rz electronics for upgrades, and on here every now and then somebody is selling, which is where I got most of mine. Do you even have cylinders yet? The PV cylinders are universal with banshee cases, pistons, ect. But rz gaskets and head are required. You reeds, carbs intakes ect will bolt right up. Also to note, you will need the flanges or fabricate some for the exaust. The rz cylinders utilize a bolt on flange, the banshee is a slip on. So you will need to make a flanged adaptor either from cut of rz pipes or made. Since the PV on the left cylinder sticks out, your limited to pipes you can use. Most popular are the paul turner midrange pipes. Rockets are another common one, but also harder to find. You can always have some made to spec that will fit, or alter the stock ones if you get them to fire straight back by putting the cylinders on backwards having the carbs in front.
  12. the half clip, stand it vertical so its half in one case half and half in the other case half. same thing in tranny if you ever come across it.
  13. it worked just fine. Ill take a picture of it. I left the cover off the side where the cables connect to the side of they cylinder and ran it to make sure it functioned properly. Im going to rig it up better with some electrical conduit straps later on and ditch the zip ties, but that was the best place I could find where the cables didnt bend to much or whatever. I threw my motor back in that have the top end off to give ya an idea.......
  14. yea that and I like to put assembly lube on the new seals too so they arent run so dry and stiff.
  15. I had mine on top in the middle of the lower radiator hose with zipties
  16. yea I agree, Ive known tony for some years. Last I heard he is doin gun work now. I just found some 795`s for the same price anyways.
  17. $100 shipped. some hoses have burns, but cheap fix. These are off some kind of snowmobile. Sorta dirty on exterior, but work 100%. Going to get 34mm`s.
  18. I could, but Im going to post it here so many people could use it, not just one. I need a printer cable to scan one. you need to get an rz harness with servo controller, a servo motor, battery elimination, cdi, and regulator. the stock coil will work. Maybe a stator. Its easier to match everything up when you have the same wire coloring and plugs anyways. if you have more rz components, such as cases, fuse box, you can also run temp gauges, turn signals, ect  .
  19. Im pretty sure you have to get your ports matched too....
  20. yes, sync the 2 into 1
  21. well, thats why I ask. thanks
  22. They are sold by tdr which is who Im having clean up my bores, but I have never heard of these. They are WSM long rod with teflon coat and larger port holes. Im sure they are decent being sold by him, but just want to get more opinions. They are only $170 for the pair. If they are able to hold around 80hp, Im going to have him throw a set in when I get my cylinders done. here is the link... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BANSHEE-LON...A1%7C240%3A1318 I sold my quad to a really good friend of mine because he refused to let me sell it, and said I could buy it back later, which I most likely will do. I work for him sometimes, so even if I dont have the money, I can work it off. I kept the motor and carbs though, and it will sell for more done than not anyways.
  23. melted a piston. need a bore, pistons, gasket set, and a job. So Im fuct. if you got a spare 4mm top end, I can throw it on there in a couple hours and go  . croom is north of clearwater off I 75 maybe 100 miles or so? maybe not even.
  24. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...endID=374815246 Just go for online poker with friends.
