  1. Might want to start by giving us an idea of what tempature and altitude your at... What jets did you start at and what was it doing?
  2. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: Oh man Kiel those pics are awesome...going to make sure my patriot buddy gets to see those!!! Especially the "Cheaties" box...he is still in denial about that whole incident!!!
  3. Seeing some of the stuff you have done and can do...I would be amazed if you guys didn't win!
  4. Don't know what I am more excited for...the show or getting to start my banshee for first time of the year! Pretty sure the best in show award will be going to a JK Custom Painted bike!
  5. I got mine from Rocky Mountain ATV in a set of all the chain guides, but you can just get the one swingarm seperate: www.rockymountainatv.com
  6. Hate to tell ya MJ, but everytime I do a search for some info that I don't know, people like dajogejr, firehead, bansh-eman, bigred350x, theshee ect are always there with a answer...always!!! I look up to these people and they have never steered me wrong, unlike you. They were actually making great posts about drag racing and times on the KFX thread today(which I have no clue about and would like to learn!) untill you had to get home from school and start in on the fighting and name calling. I have been following that KFX thread from the beginning and know that dajogejr was just telling you to calm down and stop harrassing everybody cause it goes nowhere...actually makes us at HQ look like bitchy little girls. So why don't you do yourself a favor and log off HQ for a while untill you calm down. I don't want to get into the middle of a fight between anybody, but I would like to learn new things without being interupted by some keyboard clown wanting to pick a cyber-fight!
  7. Good thread there Kiel!!! I am in tears with the title!! Has there been so much drama lately on here because half the country is frozen and nobody has gotten to ride in a while?!?! I know it is getting to me seeing my banshee just sitting there...I have to go out to the garage once in a while just to sit on it to show it is still loved.
  8. Mine doesn't have the plastic pieces and I don't think they have been in there for quite a while, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.
  9. The one I have is the top pic and I run it on my YZ426 4choke also. RMATV sells them for $1.49.
  10. I think your okay...mine fit a little different on each side. I think the right one is almost an inch longer but I just chock it up to the frame may be a little bit tweaked.
  11. Hey Kiel, Did you pay him through paypal? When something like this happens to me on ebay, I file a report with paypal and they "freeze" the seller's account so he cannot pull anything out of it. This usually wakes people up and gets them to ship the item real quick! :: Good luck!
  12. Me personally, I like a little of both!!!
  13. Looks like they go for between $50-$100 on ebay depending what they come with and what shape they are in...
  14. I have a couple Garmin Emap units that I like quite a bit. They are a little older, but they have a big screen that is easy to read when your riding. I used to sell Garmin, and this was always my favorite unit. If your interested, I may be up for selling one since my wife doesn't use hers very much.
  15. Many might disagree with me on this one, but I felt more power out of my VF3's than my head w/ 19cc domes on a stock motor. I think they are worth the $230 price , but then again I got mine for $125 from motorsport, which was a steal!!!
  16. I have been brought up by the saying "If it aint broke, don't fix it" so I doubt I would replace my plugs on my banshee for a couple of years if it is running correct. My dad had a 1995 701cc Yamaha jetski that we sold last year, and I know for a fact that it is still on the same stock plugs right now, and runs the same as when he bought it.
  17. Since we are on the topic, what size/how many paddles would everyone recommend for my setup? JUST KIDDING...already did my homework! HaHa :shoothead:
  18. Man I would love to come up there and pick that one up Kiel, especially with the SE plastics...but I know I would be finding a new place to live after I brought that home to my wife!
  19. :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: Yeah it is about that easy!
  20. Ask Kevin what he thinks would be a good setup for his port job. I think he gave me a link to get some at a decent price also! Good Luck!
  21. No need to get your panties in a bunch about this, just telling my experience... When I bought my '99, I switched it to Amsoil Dominator at 50:1 since my local shop carried it, and 6 months later the lower crank bearings went. Don't know why, and I seriously doubt it was the oil or ratio, but I am going to run Klotz at 40:1 from now on due to the smell  and recommendations from friends!
  22. Looks like a great bike especially with the Elkas, port job and T5's already on there. If you are wanting to know if this bike would fit your riding places...check out : DMCBANSHEE's Videos
  23. There is a lot of info about rebuilds on here, but it is all scattered around and you have to spend half your time looing for it. If you could do a teardown and rebuild, that would help a ton of people out! I know BigRed's teardown post helped me a great deal!
