  1. Try yfzcentral.com. They used to have tons of stuff.
  2. You should decide now if you want motor work or suspension, b/c each is going to cost around 1k if you do it right.
  3. What kind of riding do you do?
  4. Check over everything and make sure it's in adjustment before assuming it's the fibers, just a tip.
  5. Does no one look at dates on threads? This fucker is from '02.
  6. I love this thread :yelrotflmao: :shoothead:
  7. Are you really running 170 mains in stock carbs? Surely that's a typo.
  8. That's ok, i didn't need to spend the $$$$ anyways.
  9. So now your only problem is it's getting hot? Mine never liked going slow either, of course who wants to go slow on a banshee...
  10. I'm interested, let me check a few things 1st and i'll pm you.
  11. I'm not sayin that's 100% gonna work either, just an idea. Of course the best way would be to split the cases.
  12. It's silicone. I still say jb weld. And if you read my post in ur 1st thread i told u how to do it w/o splitting the cases.
  13. I've got a stock thumb throttle. Can get pics tmrw my batteries died. $35 shipped.
  14. I don't remember, my buddy just happened to have oen that was close and we used it and a pipe wrench to get it out. From what I remember I never took the bearing out, just the seal, and then found out I didn't take the bottom seal out and it was fine, didn't melt at all. Now you got me wondering if i need to re-grease my bearing, dammit
  15. That should be a nice expensive setup yes. Why are you wanting the big bore sleeves? You said it will be in trails, but want to outrun a 700r, i would guess you mean drag racing?
  16. You can't PC the a-arms with teh bushings, so most people say... I had a buddy that did and his were fine, others I have heard melted w/e is inside it. If you know a powdercoater that has an IR lamp I think they can cure it that way. As for the steering stem bearings, I'm not sure if i took mine out when I did my build, I actually don't think I did, hm, oh well.
  17. Who's your builder, did he have the bike before you?
  18. Wow, can you say flosssssin
  19. Tusk clutches seem to do alright with the lower power bikes. We'll see how mine stands up in a bigger motor with a lock-up.
  20. I'd pull the clutch arm and make sure it's ok. As for fixing it, not sure. Maybe try to find a dowel rod that will fit down in the clutch arm hole perfectly, then fill the hole from the outside with jb weld. If needed sand it smooth on the inside. I don't think that area takes much beating so I would think that would fix it.
  21. Thats where the clutch arm rides. I'd pull it out to see what kind of damage it might have.
  22. Not on a cub, but I used a spritz of wd-40 just to help it go in some. Learned my lesson using grease, it doesn't compress lol.
  23. A dune bike's a little different then a hillshooter. If he wants to ride trails then get a trail port. If he wants to ride dunes get a dune port. Extreme doesn't mean it's all top-end, it just means if he's not a pussy and likes to go fast then he'll have fun with it if set up right.
  24. hehe i got 43 :yelrotflmao:
  25. Kevin Herr EXTREME dune port, you won't be upset, and a +2 swinger might not be enough And look through this; http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...p;hl=dune+build
