  1. There's not really enough volume there to make a difference. Besides like I said earlier, if it is GOING to make it harder it would have to seal off completely and I don't see that happening.
  2. LOL I like how they try to sell it by telling you your stock petcock is like a restricted main jet. If anyone has main jets that big I wanna see the motor they're runnin.
  3. Billet 'magnum' basket from Jeff, he also sells the inner and outer hubs.
  4. I hate the shorties, clutch pull is a bitch, course that's with HD springs tryin to hold high HP
  5. I took my shit apart thinking i was getting a complete motor and didnt pay attention to much. Now i know there's a big washer that goes behind the basket, but isn't there also one that goes behind the inner hub? And I"m willing to bet 75% of people that have clutches burn up is not b/c of the clutch, but from worn parts, poor installment IMO
  6. IF my buddy didnt have a set of the carbs/intakes already i'd take 'em, he's just switchin to some 35's I think so he's keepin the filters.
  7. I'm not sure which side to agree with. From the engineering standpoint mark sounds right, and I don't really think that hole gets plugged off perfectly even if it is covered up, so it would still work how Dave says. And if the hole was plugged, and the carb cap on, you would actually be getting more pressure on the top side (less volume=more pressure) so it would want to force it back down hm

  9. I'm down in Frisco, TX
  10. Don't think they make a raptor 450, but w/e lol Well for an unported bike your best friend will be compression and timing. These other guys have given u a good starting point.
  11. What kind of riding do you do/want to do?
  12. How long was this clutch run w/o a lock-up. Just wondering cuz won't most clutches last alot longer with a lockup?
  13. Any chance on gettin just the filters?

    Pod filters

Yes I am. Definately forgot to get pics earlier, h/o and I will get some either tonight or tmrw.
  15. Yup^^^ I'd try a 13t front sprocket if I were you, It's what I run w/ porting, and the bike is plenty fast enough on top...it's dumb when people are worried about their top speed, unless you're drag racing IMO

    WCR

Did you buy it from Jeff or straight from WCR?
  17. I dono if it matters, but i've wondered the same thing.
  18. Here's the final pics, got it off and polished it, looks better than when i got it after about an hour of work.
  19. Small clarification here. The domes I have right now are 18cc domes. I also have either 21 or (I think) 22 cc domes for small bore and some 19cc domes for big bore. But yes I can get ahold of them if needed.
  20. Not gonna happen unless you wanna do some porting on the motor (which i think you said you didn't want to yet). A stock banshee (gearing wise) will run 72 or something I think. If you want bottom-end the best route to go IMO is gearing, especially since you just have bolt-ons. You will sacrifice top-end by doing this. Sorry but that just aint what a banshee's made for.
  21. Yes you're correct I was just makin sure. Well I'd buy a new cable and try that, or maybe try to find a perch that has a little more movement in the adjuster.
  22. Going to a bigger bore before needed is pointless, you will not gain anything from going .020 bigger, unless it's needed.
  23. I've never experienced a stretched clutch cable. As for the ends i think most clutch cables are like that. Are you sure you put both the rod and ball back in behind the clutch adjuster?
  24. I'd probably start with .020. Be sure to check your squish after you do this, just to be sure. And i'd try ebay for the adjustable timing plate, probably cheaper than ricky stator.
  25. That's weird, you sure it's the right cable for a banshee?
