  1. I mean it can have some affect, but rider skill is a big thing in racing that people don't understand. Try slipping the clutch a little when taking off it if it's bogging.
  2. Both are basic pipes, none is better than the other really with the little amount of work you have done to the bike.
  3. Ok you seem to have checked the basics. Now if you can explain 'sputter' a little better.
  4. Just cut the bolt head off. Your plastic will still grab onto the rest of it that's sticking out.
  5. I'm sure people are down for it, but I hate to say this is gonna be one of those things where you're going to sell a few then someone will spill the beans (if it even works). So basically if it's something that doesnt have to be machined or is expensive there's no point in making $ off of it cuz it won't work.
  6. Is the little black tube (about the size of the fuel dump line) connected between the 2 carbs? I can't remember what it's real name is, but if it's not there you'll get some acting up in the low-mid range. That, or the slides are in backwards, or the parking brake crap is acting up, or the TORS. One of those 4 most likely LOL
  7. Do you have the stock airbox setup? Even if you have taht you should ahve bumped up your main some due to the pipes.
  8. That's a pretty good price.
  9. Ya I think ur a little confused about this whole thing. Don't wanna be an ass here but instead of starting a new thread for every question try the search, it's not the best but it does work. And if you wanna do even better use this, http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en
  10. Easy there coolhead. post pics of the whole bike (washed maybe)? And maybe proofread your posts b4 making them and ppl won't give u shit for a random ass thread or w/e this is. and mj, shut up?
  11. I did the prep work myself on mine, guess that pays off too, only took a night I think.
  12. Sudco or carbpartswarehouse I believe. Or jeff
  13. I've got mine out right now, i'll try ot measure them later, I need 2 new ones too.
  14. What's your jetting? May have got some trash in a pilot jet..
  15. Damn that sucks, not even keepin a banshee around?

Ya I've talked with him while he had one, but now he doesn't. Not sure I wanna go +8 yet, but definately want a link-setup.
  18. No he means until the squish is at .040, not cut that much off. If you wanna cut the stock head I woudl recommend talking to someone who knows what they're doing. Pm a member named blowit, I know his company does thsi.
  19. How many hours are on the top-end you have? Have you done a compression check yet? 2-strokes don't take 'high compression' pistons either.
  20. LOLOLOL racing pistons, that's funny. It sounds like you need a rebuild. Sorry but putting a head on or milling yours is not the answer to getting higher compression if it's wore slap out.

Lmk what ya got. Need a roundhouse. If not chrome I need one bare so I can PC it to match mine.
  22. You can't really convert them, one is a length (kinda) and one is a volume. And aftermarket heads are cut different than just milling them smaller. Also some people will get their stock head cut and re-chambered so they will get a different 'burn' of the fuel. Do I understand it? hell no, i've just heard about it
  23. Basically do a little porting on teh cages to get the most airflow.
  24. I mean I like the idea that you're tryin to make a few bux off of it, if you can throw some pics up it'd be cool, just to see.
