Your overall displacement is 358cc's, his is 373cc's. Yes 347 is stock.

Hit it with a coat of clear coat after you polish it and it won't rust :thumbsup:

Look up the thread titled powdercoating rims or something like that. Kaotik put up a ton of pics of diff. PC colors. BTW the black chrome looked AWESOME :thumbsup: from what i can remember.

It just did this while sitting and idling? How was the bike running before this in the 0-1/4 throttle range? Did you check plugs after it died?

Not really sure on where to get the parts, but I'm in the market for a cool-head...got anything layin around?

Yeah I have a fairly good idea of consequences, but I'm just trying to weigh those against the positives, if there were any. If 30 guys got on here and said they'd done it b4 with no problems then I'd ride it. Otherwise, I'm just gonna "borrow" a buddies and give him the new one :biggrin:

Man yall're fuckin pissy tonight, holidays must have ya down. I simply came here to see if anyone else had ever broken one and rode with it. I know the majority is going to say fix it b/c most of ya'll have the $ and quick resources to do that but I'm just lookin for a little ride time over the break. Ease off a little, shit.

From plain eyesight there is no cracks or anything in the rest of the basket. If balance is an issue I am curious if taking a tooth off the other side would work or not. I've been off all damn break and haven't been able to ride cuz this stupid thing's been broke. That's what you get with a 2-stroke tho.

Like the title says I broke a tooth off of the outer clutch basket last time I was reassembling it. I already have one bought from NYUK but it might not be here in time for our next planned riding trip so I was curious if it would be ok to run it like this or would everything be too out of balance? Another idea was to break a tooth off the opposite side of the basket to try to "balance" things out. Let me know what ya'll think.

Well you having budget and 4mil in the same paragraph is a little odd. Sounds like you wanna rebuild it but go big? As for costs it'll depend on what all needs to be replaced. Let us know that and someone can give you a better idea.

Now that would be tight to have the lights. I know they have an actual track but as for getting to use it and how much $ it costs and upkeep of it I dunno. 1st time I went the gates were open to it so we just helped ourselves, but this last time it was closed off. If mine's runnin I'll probably be there. Along with 4 or 5 others.

Yak, I hate the gold colored rims I have. I'm gonna get 'em sandblasted and PC'd black to match the new frame.

If you can wait like a week and a 1/2 I've got one that came on a timing advance plate and it looked like junk so I traded the stocker over. I'm down at my parents right now but will be workin on the bike in about 10ish days.

I guess if they could die the steel black or somethin it'd be better, but otherwise I think PC is the way to go :thumbsup:

No prob. I'd sell 'em seperate but they're shrink wrapped together in the package so I figured i'd try to get rid of both. Let me know if u change ur mind tho.
