  1. Hows it going, I just rebuilt my carbs and added a foam filter. Elevation is 400 ft. I upsized the main jets to 230 and everything else the same. Completely stock bike with foam filter and no lid. I also synced my carbs with the sync tool. At idle and at 1/4 i got both carbs to give same reading; however, bike wont stay on, When syncing at 1/4 throttle i struggled to keep the bike on sync tool would almost kill it. The bike bogs at low throttle and it will rev up nicely , but will then just die out. Do you guys have any suggestions? I have the air screws 2.5 turns out Thanks Hopefully this commitment to properly jet my banshee will pay off.
  2. Hows it going, I did alot of research but wasnt able to get a definate answer. As i was doing the tors removal kit, I lost both washers that sit on top of the e clip/ needle on the throttle valve slide. Its above the clip on the needle and below the spring retaining plate. My understanding is they are shims for when you need them. I have a completely stock bike with just a pro design foam filter. Do you think i need to replace them to put above the e-clip? http://www.jetsrus.com/individual_parts/009_395_su.html Do these look right? Or can i just ignore not having them? Is the neddle always gonna sit lose/ wobbly in the throttle slide? thanks for your time guys.
  3. I recently bent back to normal my steering loop after some flips. Now Im wondering where to gusset it? Do I remove the stock ones and Gusset new ones? Or do I just add on after the stock ones? Im going to use 1/4 steel. Pics would be helpful? Thanks
  4. alright. I removed the steering stem but i kept the radiator on. I tried bending it back with a tie down and a tree but after a while the bike just didn't stay stationed and it started dragging. I put a few blocks on the rear wheels and the brakes.. any suggestions?
  5. Im going to try using a Tie Down attached to a tree to bend it back. Should i take off the radiator and steering stem? My steering stem is slightly bent, but not enough to buy a new one plus i love hill climbing.
  6. I just bent my sub frame in the front where the radiator is at. My gas tank wont come off. The plastic covering the radiator doesnt sit right or the side covers covering the gas tank. Any cheap fixes?( im a broke college student) Here is a pic. ( sorry didnt have my digital camera)
