  1. One last time...... did you play for the fucking Red Wings or not?
  2. Interesting for sure, never seen an FMF head or cylinders. Power valves are definitely cool and not stock.
  3. Mine failed after 20 minutes on my 250R
  4. I have an LCD but I do notice that once in a while on mine. I think it has to do with the signal; I can switch channels and make it go away. You?
  5. I've always let off and killed the motor simultaneously
  6. Make sure you didn't allow the chain to rub through the oil seal for the swingarm pivot (like I did!). Then you will have to partially remove the swingarm to put in new seals and bearings anyway. The swingarm does not need to come all the way off the bike, fyi
  7. Crank washer........................
  8. You talking about the studs or the nuts?
  9. Don't think reeds are your problem. I'd do a leakdown test
  10. Ive got an immaculate set off an '04 with NO BUSHINGS for 130 shipped.
  11. Do a compression test. If that is fine, switch the plug wires around and see if the problem switches sides. The lack of smoke could also be a lean condition on that cylinder.
  12. You'll love the powerband compared to the Big Wheel! Congrats
  13. Dino, is that you?
  14. What domes are in the coolhead? Those are giant carbs for your mods!!
  15. Try synching the carbs. Does it idle fine? What are the pilot and main sizes, and clip position?
  16. Does it start on the first, second kick? If it does, I would make sure your gauge is accurate and you are performing the test correctly.
  17. Your compression will vary depending on your elevation, sea level is around 125psi for stock head. Under 100psi or a variance of 10% per cylinder is time for a bore and pistons. Hold the throttle wide open and kick until the gauge stops climbing. You may want to compare hot/cold data. Make sure your tester is not a POS. There are several good threads on here about leakdown testing. 6psi for 6 minutes is pretty standard.
  18. Sorry to laugh, but the scewdriver part cracked me up! Sounds like you may have an airleak. Do a leakdown test when you gett'er back together, then run some plug chops to dial in your main jet.
  19. I use R50, it is 100% synthetic. I have had no issues with it, burned about 4 gallons through the bike so far. It is nice because whenever I try to order Supertechniplate it is on backorder, but the R50 is usually in stock. And yes, it smells purdy
  20. http://up.craigslist.org/mcy/1354147464.html
  21. How long of a race? Sounds like he is setup for mx, while you have taller gearing. My bet is he takes you out of the hole. You catch and pass around 300'.
  22. If you are careful to mind the pickup on the flywheel you could use an oil filter wrench, also.
  23. Check with Jeff@FAST for the puller. It is under $20 and well worth it. Probably only be $50 or so for shipping to you...
  24. An impact wrench is your best bet for the flywheel nut AND the puller that you will need to get the flywheel off. Don't try to pull the flywheel with a 3-jaw. Make sure to use an impact or a torque wrench and an extra set of hands to put it back on. I've had them come loose before upon start up, not cool!
