  1. Here's a few pics of my truck that I've been working on for about 6 years off and on now.
  2. I didn't have to move anything at all on mine, and it is the same size as the stock one.
  3. You might as well take the boost bottle off, they claim it doesn't do anything.
  4. First you could do +4 timing advance with an adjustable timing plate, and either get your head milled and save some money or buy a coolhead. If you ride mostly trails, try a 13 tooth front sprocket. It helped my lowend a little bit in the trails. Also, if it's not done go ahead and to the TORS removal. You could also put a K&N air filter with the pro flow adapter on it, unless you already have it. It's not an engine mod as far as performance, but put a case saver on if you don't have one already.
  5. I've been told if you tighten the caps down to tight the slides could stick. I'm guessing your cable isn't in a bind anywhere.
  6. Hopefully you can see it in the pic, first bike shown. If you can't see I'll try to get one tomorrow.
  7. Sports are way the fuck overated , just my opinion. Also, they should pour acid in his eyes, hang him from his feet, and cut his fucking throat.
  8. Are you sure they sent the right one? Mine bolted right on, I didn't have to move anything. Also, the cable comes out in the stock position on mine. It is the same size as the stock assembly. I'd say they sent the wrong one. I am very satisfied with mine also, it's nice to be able to switch back and forth.
  9. Count the grooves from the blunt end. Can you post a pic of the pipes? I installed mine just like toomey said, and mine runs great. 280 mains, stock pilots, about 1 turn out, and 32:1 Klotz. Also, I didnt' have any problem with the pipes fitting, although they were a little close to the frame under the seat. As far as the leaking, where does the hose go to? You also should do a plug chop.
  10. Yes, order yourself one, they are very nice. They also look alot nicer that the others.
  11. They claim a coolhead will help your engine run a little cooler, I don't know if that is true or false. I bought one because I can run whatever dome in it that is needed for my setup. The domes come out of the head so you can change them to a different cc. Basically changes your compression, I have 20 cc domes in mine and I have 150 psi in each cylinder. Not sure what the break off point is on compression, everyone has a different number. If you go with to small of a cc dome then you would have to either run 50/50 mix race fuel and gas, or straight race fuel. I would say I'm safe at 150 psi because I have ran mine on 91 octane for about 7 months or so now. That's all I know about it.
  12. Well, if you were closer I'd probably do it for $10 or so. My dad has a plastic welder, it works pretty slick. The hardest thing may be finding someone with the same color of rod as your plastic. Or maybe weld if from the bottom side.
  13. Yep, you have to pull the whole cover off.
  14. Yeah, I'd like to see a picture of a banshee with those handle bars on them. You better find some pics quick or you're gonna catch shit over this topic.
  15. The only thing to make that picture better in your sig. would be dustin behind that cloud of sand on that sorry as 450R!!
  16. It's hard to find an honest person anymore. I just don't understand how people can fuck other people over like that. People like that need shot in the fuckin head as far as I'm concerned, just my opinion. To many loser's out there that don't want to work for their money, they'd rather screw people out of it and not work. Just venting, it didn't happen to me and I'm pissed off also.
  17. I think anyone can ride women or men, just depends on how long they've been doing it and practicing. No, just because it was a girl I wouldn't judge her. Girls can ride too, probably better than some guys. Most likely if a saw a girl on a banshee set up like that, I would have to say she can probably ride. I haven't seen to many girls on banshee's, but there are plenty out there I'm sure.
  18. Yeah, three of them. I had to have my dad bring new ones with him when he came down. I ended up sleeping in my truck for 3 nights with it running. I stayed nice and warm while the other guys were crammed into tents with heaters.
  19. Those are some awesome trucks, very slick
  20. There will be 2 banshee's with us, a 400EX,250R,450R, and my dads Bruin. Heading out wed. morning, hopefully the weather's nice unlike Snakehunt this year. That really sucked, to damn cold for me. Then some assholes cut all of our tents up. We got our spots back because I took pics of our tents when we set them up. They also had the tags put in the front of them showing we were payed up. There's always some asswipe out there to screw shit up for everyone else. I did also help a group of guys get there spots back because in my pics their campsite was shown. Somebody did the same thing to them. So if you reserve an unmarked camping spot take pics.
  21. Yeah, that whole shit with giving lengths is stupid if you ask me. I only race heads up, if I loose so be it, if I win good deal. Otherwise if I want to keep up, I better build up. I don't think it's a win if someone gives you a lengths. That shit's for pinks
  22. That guy's toast if you have a boost bottle, I'd run heads up!!!!!!
  23. I don't think I would run that if it was me. Looks like quit a bit is gone between the case and the impeller. Might leave a good size gap in there that could mess up the flow of the coolant, could possibly cause it to run hotter.
