  1. We saw one at Little Sahara last month, this one was bad ass. The guy was flying all over the place, running the face of the dunes and cutting it back up to the top. We were waiting for him to flip over and roll down, but never did. Finally he shredded the drive belt and we went to talk to him. He says you have to really try to flip one over. There was one down there for around $6500 I believe. Not sure on aftermarket parts for them, but if I had the money I'd own one.
  2. That would be awesome!! Wish they would do that in Kansas.
  3. You can get the old seal out without splitting the cases. I got mine out with a small screwdriver, and popped the new one in.
  4. Yeah, I know they are harder to find, I guess it just depends what your wanting, me I like the banshee's because I like the speed, and I'm not impressed with the 250r's. I know you can build one to run like a bastard, but parts are probably going to get harder to find or cost a shit load to get parts. They still sale around here for around $2000-$2500 when one pops up. Like I said don't take it to heart, I'm nobody here. Just my opinion I don't think they are what they used to be back in the day.
  5. Get the banshee, parts will be available for a long time to come, and then again maybe the 250R parts will also. To me buying a 250R would be like buying a 300 EX, but that's my opinion, nobody take that to heart. Everyone likes different things.
  6. Yeah the grey 20 ft long tent.
  7. I will be in a pewter colored duramax. Also there will be a charcoal colored dodge with us.
  8. Hell yeah glad we didn't go scott. I believe 7 of us will be there next weekend. Be in the south end of the south campground hopefully.
  9. 20x10 Diamo 8Karat's
  10. I plugged both exhaust ports, one intake port, and put the a valve stem in the other one. Do you have the right side open? If so I believe you need to plug all holes up.
  11. Get the 05. That way when you do stuff to it, you will now exactly what's in it.

    My truck

Haven't done much but paint the interior, and changed out the 3:73 gears for 4:88's and a locker in the rear. Been trying to get the powdercoating going.

    Waynoka, Ok

We'd like to go down for sandfest, it's just to hard to get a camping spot in the campgrounds.

    Waynoka, Ok

We're going down the week after sandfest this year, 17th-21st anybody else plan on being there?
  15. That is badass!!
  16. dieseltowingresource.com is a nice site also
  17. Not too many plans now, the only thing done right now is the 4" magnaflow exhaust, and a hypertech programmer. Don't want to overdue it, and hurt the allison. I see they have some weak points. I'd like to have some stuff done to the trans. before anything else is done to the truck.
  18. Yeah, sorry about that. 6.6 LB7
  19. 2003, 2wd, damn I love these diesel's.
  20. Here's a couple pics of a truck I just traded for. If anybody has any suggestsion of where to buy aftermarket parts for a duramax, let me know.

    Kansas

I think everyone sucks at driving  , missouri roads blow fucking ass. I'd say the most boring places I have driven through is I-40 from Oklahoma City to Vegas, everything in between sucks ass. That's alot worse than Kansas.
  22. Terry Cable Dual Gasser, I use my twist for cruising across the open sand or open fields, then switch to thumb when jumping or climbing dunes. Works great for me.
  23. So the only problem with this setup is one side smokes worse that the other?
  24. Damn, the bench racing's getting serious around here!!!
  25. Exactly, there's three things you want to do with a banshee that they aren't made for.
