  1. it was either in 90 or 91.
  2. just curious why are you selling these?
  3. i'm not a mechanic by any means... but one thing you might try (if your axle splines are bad too) just take one of the hubs and put it on then drill through it and through the axle then put a bolt in it. not sure how feasible it is but it might be worth a try. AND IF SOMEBODY COMES ON HERE AND SAYS IT ISN'T SAFE OR IT WON'T WORK I WOULD BE INCLINED TO LISTEN TO THEM SINCE AS I STATED BEFORE "I AM NOT A MECHANIC".
  4. somebody got an AWESOME deal.
  5. i'll beat that offer $5+shipping.
  6. that would have been cool to see. lol. good thinking on shutting off the motor in flight. i don't think i would have thought to do that.
  7. T.O.R.S. (throttle over ride system) its the big metal boxes on top of the stock carbs. they are supposed to kill the power if your throttle gets stuck wide open.
  8. yeah well i think something that says BANSHEE HQ would look kind of goofy on a honda.
  9. that actually sounds pretty kick ass. i would like to see what it looks like. i like the idea of being able to customize it with your screen name.
  10. $250 for a B-1 pipe is a pretty good deal, and the B-1 pipe is a good pipe it's what i have on my blaster. but i don't really care for the low end lag with the B-1. if i had a choice i would go with the PC (only because it would suit my riding better). of course now that i have a bigger (34mm) carb on there and i have put in my VF2 reeds i think the B-1 pipe is going to suit me better.
  11. nice job. thanks for posting that up. but i do have a question... didn't each year have a more than one color option? if i remember correctly there was one year that they had some gay ass pink and turqoise color scheme or maybe it was just some gay ass aftermarket plastics.
  12. sorry about the bad link, but yep you found the one i was pointing out to you. i have bought a bumper from him. i see it is sold now...did you buy it? if not i know of someone selling another one.
  13. here's a good blaster pipe for a pretty good price... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=130152515359
  14. yep, i used to check out that site all the time but they never seem to update with new toons.
  15. here's a pic of my banshee when i first got it to full roller status (still only at roller status)...
  16. front or rear? rear is 4X110 i think front i'm not sure about. i think they are bigger than the yamaha pattern (4X156). i'm just guessing because i have a set of rear rims that are to small to fit my banshee hubs and too big to fit my blaster hubs. also i have a front rim that the bolt pattern on it is way too big to fit on my banshee hubs so i'm assuming it is for a honda. the guy i got all this stuff mainly only had stuff for banshees and 250r's. hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in here.
  17. pm NYUK or Minkia38. either of those guys can probably hook you up.
  18. i believe so. i think the a-arms are the same as the yfz450 a-arms.
  19. you can get just the rubber boots. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...653378&rd=1 as for getting the spindles off of the a-arms (without damaging anything) take the brakes apart so that you have a bare spindle. then take the castle nuts off of the ball joints. then take a hammer (don't use a rubber mallet it won't work) and hit the spindle right next to the ball-joint you are trying to remove. a few good whacks and the ball-joint will just pop right out.
  20. dude!!! anything goes well with BLACK!!!
  21. actually the craptor 250 replaced the blaster, not the banshee.
  22. i would say at minimum i would find out what egay is going to charge you and then make him pay you that amount. if the guy is a jackass about it then i would make him pay the buy it now price.
  23. i'm just curious as to why you would not want the brake light to come on. and i am going to guess that it is the yellow wire that you want to eliminate to get rid of the brake light function. the reason i am guessing that is because the older banshee tail lights (non brake light) have the blue wire and the black wire. i'm not familiar with how the brake light banshees are set up. i'm guessing that you have a three-wire plug for your brake light? hence why you don't just unplug one wire??? like i said it's just a guess.
  24. just cut them things off!!!
  25. not a problem. i'm just curious why you don't just get a TORS removal kit?
