  1. you won't be sticking your banshee in the bed of your truck with canopy. well you can but you will need to either take your tires off or unbolt your front shocks so that you can lower it down.
  2. i am going to be a little different than everybody else. i think either white, red or yellow plastics would look good. but yes black or silver plastics would look good to. but i think the absolute best thing for you to do... would be get Kiel (theshee) to paint your plastics with the blue real flames. on either a white, silver or black bacground.
  3. i hadn't thought of that idea. i don't see why it wouldn't work. let me know if you do that and how well it works out because i may just pull my bolts out and do that as well. if i can get enough of a bite in my bolts. (i know that sounds really bad)
  4. i have that same problem with my banshee. i just ground the bolts down so they don't hit anymore. the only problem is, it will be hard to get the bolts out of the hub if i ever need to take the rotors off.
  5. either way i hope to never find out from personal experience.
  6. that would be interesting to find out... the reason i say that is what if you got stuck climbing a hill and you started rolling backwards would it fire and run backwards? there by making your down hill run faster and more dangerous. it would be nice to know so that you make sure you don't do it by accident (then have a worse accident.
  7. Well if Kiel and Ghost rider are doing the painting then i guarentee it will be worth the wait.
  8. according to my clymers... connecting rod clearence (large end) 0.25-0.75mm (0.0098-0.0295 inch) connecting rod small end freeplay 0.36-0.98mm (0.0142-0.0386 inch)
  9. ok here's the pics as promised. the silver foot peg is from my 2000 blaster. i put the banshee peg on so you can see where the banshee peg sits as opposed to the blaster peg. yes my garage is a mess. heres a side pic... here's from the top...
  10. you can get the correct cable from vito's, rockmountain atv, or F.A.S.T. (when he gets back up and running). but you have to get one for the TORSless caps. as for your freezing problem i have no idea, i have never had that problem.
  11. i will go out and check for you in just a few minutes. i will even get pics for you.
  12. no you can not use the same cable. the twist cable is longer than the thumb cable. i mean you can make it work (i did in a pinch) but it is not recommended.
  13. uhh yeah here's 2. F.A.S.T. racing (site sponsor) Noss Machine (also site sponsor) both of these guys are awesome guys to deal with. good prices as well. by the way ALBA sucks. they are f-ing idiots. i have called them before and i knew more about their product line than they did. yeah and i supposedly have a bumper maye by them that is a "one of a kind" yet i have seen several of them. they are IDIOTS!!!
  14. what are FBT's? i hope Jeff and everybody else hit by the ice storm stays safe and warm.
  15. no. well maybe you could put them on... but they ain't gonna work. you have to use the yfz hubs with the spindles.
  16. what kind of tires are you running? how long is your swing arm?
  17. if you are looking for just an inexpensive paddle tire i would say SAND SKATES or SAND SHARKS will be fine. but if you are going to be going every other weekend then i would suggest getting something better like SKAT TRAK HAULERS.
  18. how often are you planning on going to the dunes? if you are just going to go once or twice a year then i would just get a cheap set of paddles. why spend big money on paddles if you are never going to use them. now if you think that you are going to go to the dunes alot then you might want to look into a better paddle. for jetting... i just call the manufacturer of the pipe (toomey, PC, fmf, etc.) and tell them what mods what elevation and they give me a ball-park jet. then you can go from there. also there are some jetting gurus on here that can get you pretty close. stock silencers already have a spark arrestor.
  19. i don't think it is necessary. i think it is meant to dampen noise or keep from getting stuff lodged between the basket and the gear or something. maybe somebody with more knowledge than i will chime in and tell me if i am wrong.
  20. you are kidding right??? the Banshee is like the best all time duning quad out there.
  21. might want to check that there WALLACE84. actually last i heard the canadian dollar is worth more than the U.S. dollar.
  22. pro's your front end sits 1 inch wider on each side. cons it's harder on your ball joints, i've never had a problem though. you also have to do something about your stems or they will hit your brake calipers. i say go for it.
  23. samc, them hoses are cheap. i think i paid $1.09 a foot and i used just over 3 feet. get 3/4 inch hose. it will look like it ain't gonna fit but you heat up the hose ends with boiling water or a heat gun and they will slide right on. Bansh-eman, thanks for the tip. once i heated up the ends them hoses went on super easy. i didn't dye mine. maybe i will next time. that bike is looking sweet.
  24. i understand why you are wanting to do it. i'm just saying that you wouldn't get much difference in the a-arms. at most i think you would get about half an inch on each side. hardly worth the effort. i was not meaning to demean your abilities.
