  1. are you fixing it to ride it? or are you fixing it to sell it?
  2. hey, why did you cut the metal lines on those brakes?
  3. there are alot of people on here that are smarter than i am but i would think about draining your gas... and here's why i say that. you said it ran just fine until you washed it right? then after you washed it you drove it to put it away and everything was still fine. then it set for 15 days. i'm thinking you got water in your gas while you were washing it and after you let it sit the water got to the bottom of the tank and is now in your carbs. that's just my guess though. also the gas line goes straight down to the left carb. water is heavier than gas so that might explain why it is only happening in the left side. like i said just my guess.
  4. ok i'm going to show my ignorance here but i am curious. when you look into the intake side of a cylinder you see the T shaped thing... what is it called? what does it do? and what would happen if you took out the verticle part? the reason i am asking is because i have a cylinder out in my garage that is missing that part of the casting and that part in the sleeve is cracked. so i'm wondering if that is now a junk cylinder or if i can just remove it or if it can be fixed cheaper than just buying new cylinders.
  5. thanks bansheeyfz. i wonder if the trailtech colored covers would work on them and if they would help keep the mud and water out of them. i mostly ride sand but every so often i get into the trails. thanks again for the info.
  6. bansheeyfz, are your headlights these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ATV-LIGHTS-...1QQcmdZViewItem how do you like them? i have been considering getting a set for my shee but i don't know anybody who has bought them.
  7. the shee is a most excellent seller. he ships fast, gives GREAT deals and is an all around good guy. i would never hesitate to buy from him. THANK YOU.
  8. yes that is correct hondas have a 4/110 bolt pattern.
  9. been done many times. works well. i did it on my 2000 blaster i was amazed at how much of a difference it made. i had to flip them back though when i put my banshee brakes on because i haven't relocated the valve stem. anyway, i say go for it.
  10. good information for us non-technical types. thanks for posting it up.
  11. Firehead, are you referring to juniper still? if so, it's easy to find. you just head out on the old Kahlotus (sp?) highway. the way i was told to get there the first time was to hit Lewis street in el pasco and follow it out it turns into the old Kahlotus highway. follow that out until you see a big yellow mailbox and some cropduster airplanes on the right side of the road. there is a road straight across from there you follow that road out to juniper dunes. if you ever find yourself wandering out this way let me know and i will take you out there. i don't know if i will be able to ride with you then or not but atleast i will be able to show you where it is.

  23. i know what you were saying. i was just giving you a hard time. i mean i like the cover but i think it would look totally out of place on my banshee. it would be the only shiny thing on there.
