  1. They will make your bike ride lower than stock Banshee shocks.
  2. Elka's are good but your going to pay for the name. Find you a set of used Works and you will have a totally differant bike.
  3. It would not be too smart to dune them. I am sure they could handle a laittle abuse, but they are not designed to have the hell beat out of them. I would get a set that are built to dune. Contact Stellar Performance and get a set built.
  4. Do like J-Madd said and call the guy to see if there was a reason or if it was a mistake. You should be running 8 series plugs unless there is a specific reason you needed to drop to a colder plug.
  5. My buddy posted this on FB a few weeks ago. I like it when you watch the video and he misses the target, then they clip in him hitting a bell pepper.
  6. That is correct. the 28 F is for 28MM Flat, and the Mikuni stamp at the base is the maker. I have some just like those but in 38mm setup for alky. They are good carbs.
  7. It all depends on what kind of riding your doing. Duning, drag racing, and mx all need differant settings. What type of riding will you be doing?
  8. I'm not sure if he has "dealers" I think he sells everything him self. I got my Chariot Head directly from him.
  9. With stock carbs, lid off air box, pipes, and porting from 0-1500 feet most guys are running 320 mains, 27.5 pilots, middle clip, 2.5 turns to start with, than fine tune from there.
  10. The vent line on the clutch cover and the rear of the case both tie into the "T" fitting then run the hose up higher than the motor so the oil doesnt come out. For the cables run them under your tank and there is a small metal flange that run right in the middle of the tank. Put your cables through there. Everything else you can just tie up out of the way with zip ties. There is no one way that you have to route it all. As long as you dot route it so the wires/cables are so tight they barley fit your fine.
  11. There are many things you should still upgrade whewn you port your stockers. Clutch being on of the main things. Also depending on what type of porting you do and what riding you will need a swinger to match. With a longer swinger your going to need new chain, and with new chain you should always replace your sprockets. There is no cheap way out of it. That is if you want to do it right. Sure you can skim by on a few parts but if they let go it could cost you alot more in the end.
  12. Nick, 875 is only the cylinders. He will still need plenty more to get that bike running and running properly that the cost will tower over the 875 mark. Sending you top end to Herr Jugs Racing to get ported and get new pistons base gasket and Coolhead orings, will be cheaper by far. Plus like said, the cub may not fit his riding. Either way you go you should think about pulling your crank and having it trued and welded.
  13. Do you trail ride, drag race, dune, MX ??? Cubs will haul when setup for sure, but a nice port job on a set of stockers can haul as well. Cubs are not made for doing alot of lugging around. If your riding tight corner trails where your changing gears and your on and off the pipe they may not be your best option. Any motor can be reliable as long as you build it with proper tolerances and keep up the maintanance and properly jet it.
  14. What kind of riding do you do? Your going to need alot of stuff if you don't already have it. Cool head, Pistons of choice, true and weld crank, billet basket, longer swing arm, longer chain, new sprockets, longer brake line, new pipes, bigger carbs, new intakes. The list goes on. Also with a lockup you would be wise to put a over ride in there. Don't have to but it makes shifting ALOT ezer. Depending on what kind of riding and more importantly howmuch $$$ you have to spend there might be better options for you. If you really want a Cub, I am trying to sell my bike
  15. Most of the clutches that sho are putting together are nothing more than FZR1000 plates. They just get them all packaged up so you don't have to do the shopping around to get them. Another option is the Raptor 660 clutch. Personally I am a fan of the FZR clutch.
  16. Ok so you need a 2.5 in HD that is Serial ATA and 5400 rpm. That's not a "standard" HD. But they are not any thing special.
  17. Do you have to buy a special HD for the PS3 or will any standard HD fit in them?
  18. I havent ever seen a head for a Banshee from them. Thought they do sleds?
  19. TONS of great info laying around here. Let the search button be your find for a while and start looking at some older posts. If you see a topic that gets your attention do a few searches and start reading up on it... mostly everything you read has already been covered 10 times or more. It sometime is a PITA to find the answers your looking for but they are out there. Other than that Welcome to your new addiction.
  20. Unless the guy took the compression 5000 ft below sea level it probly isnt 200 psi, but either way a stock crank can handle it, you just need to get the thing trued and welded.
  21. The differance is design. 1 piece vs 2 piece. Ebay is same price from what I have seen.
  22. There should be 3 differant cdi's. 87-94, 95-96, and 97- current. Depending on which year you have you may have extra wire hanging from the cdi... it's no big deal just wrap them up out of the way. I have one on my bike and plan on getting rid of it eventually. I am going to get it to the track first.
