its just where the parts for te flaost and jets and all fit at, the third pict looks like a bunch of channels but its not, its just the marks from the mill. there is like a deep "W" cut out and a few other spots at the sides

second, the only time you should let the stealership do anything to your bike is when you enjoy getting raped. Start reading around here and asking questions these bike are VERY simple to do the work on

you can also try drilling out the gas cap on your tank too. on some of the billet after market caps the hole is kinda small. drill it out and it should help vent a little better
i have heard of a few people that had problems with the filters restricting the fuel flow on bigger motors. I personaly do not run one and see no need to.
they are your typical billet bowl. I want to say they are a tad smaller then a few other options out there. Jerry sells top notch stuff. I wouldnt think twice about getting them
Ebay feedback doesnt give you any ideas on how well they holdup after being used. It is only the first impression someone has after buying something. After putting a few rides on it and you have submitted feedback its too late to put feedback past your initial look at it.
