no one said a drag motor wont hit over 100hp but a 421 cub on gas isnt going to make 100hp wothout a fat port job... just runnin a cleanup port on a cub isnt going to get you there...why the fuk spend the money on a 7mm crank to get a smaller motor when you can get a 4mm cub for close to the same amount and have better top end... for a 7mm your going to spend around 1500 just for the crank the cases to be trenched ,a crank and a port job..and you still need pistons or you can get a 4mm cub and spend 1400 and have better topend and still be abe to dune it...and thats for everything what carbs are you running? your bike is a fukin gas hog! you shouldnt be out of gas going that short of a distance! get your self an ims tank if thats the case!

what kind of rising you doing? theres tns of brands.. Elka (paying for name over rated) Works (have best price for the performance) Axis Fox Pep the list goes on and on

wow im a tool, i thought you siad you got a set for 80... not selling for 80... :shoothead: i just bought a set today... where were you yesterday!!!!
-
a race is 80% rider 20% motor and mods... just becasue you beat some kids with a raptor or yfz piped dosent mean your bike will hands down beat every piped 4 stroke out there... get someone that can really ride those thumper and your race will be much closer... stock for stock a 4 stroke will eat a banshee up a hill... just the way the ball rolls, but once you start to mod the 2 a banshee will get twice the gain from the same mods... not to mention when you port a banshee your going to gain 15-20 hp if you got a good builder doing your porting... a thumper 5-10 if your lucky...

nope i still got it...pm sent -
where did you get a set for 80 bones at?
-
not always the case... it depends on how big of a motor you got... if your running a bigger motor then you need more paddles to keep the tire from just spinning... but if your running too many paddles for a small motor then that where the drag comes into play...
-
a 421 your not going to hit 100hp... do it right the first time and just get the 421... youll thanks your self later...

to do a storker you need the following... stroker crank jugs reported for a stroker (the port timings change and have to be reported to accomidate for the stroker) you need to have the domes cut for a stroker you need either 795 series pistons or blaster pistons depending on what size bore you go with... all the gaskets and seals be smart to rebuild the clucth at the same time. reeds for more throttle respones.. depending what size motor you build 33pwk-35pwk carbs new pipes for your style riding.. and theres still more in ad outs that youll want to get along the way but you dont have to have...

there was a raptor 660 out at olds this turkey day, im willing to bet his bike would beat the shit out of 75% of the shees on this site that arnt all dragged out... dude was fukin shit p on that bike! now all he needs to do is get him self a yfz450 or a trx450 and he would be untouchale if he moved the motor work into that bike...

not sure if a 250r fits... but i dont think they have any more then stock banshee tanks do they? actually i just googled it and if those wil fit under thats the way to go... they are bigger then the ims tanks.. they are 4.8 gallon.. i didnt think they where that big

size and number of rows all depend on what kind of motor your running.. if your running close to stock then obviosly your not going to carry 10 paddles very well.. if all you have done is the things in your sig go with a 20x10x8 8 pad on 8 inch rim... should hookup very nice... but keep inmind if your going to a bigger motor you going to need a bigger tire later on so weigh your options to see if its worth getting one now and then having to buy another later on...

elka are over rated... your simply paying for the name... i love my works shocks.. they are just as competitive as elkas and other names, they just dont go crayz on the price gougng like those other fukers do...

the block off he is refering to is the e-break block off... you dot "have" to have it but id rather not have the little rod sticking out the back of my brake caliper when i can cover it with some bing for 10 bucks...

if your riding in the sand i would stay away from the tacky oils... they are a son of a bitch to get clean! juust run a k&n type filterr with K&n style oil and a dry outer... wash the outer every weekend and just take a look at your filter if its dirty wash it if not you can get away with another weekend on it... use simplegreen to clean the filter and use dawn dish soap to wash the outer... dry them over night and reapply oil to the filter...

post what kind and size of carbs you have ... differant carbs need differant flaot hieghts.. to messure the float hieght take the bowls off and flip the carbs over... get your self a micromiter.. and from the lip of the carbs to the top most part of the float is what you messure... im sure you can do it with a ruler but we use a mic to get it more accurate... you got to get a small screw driver and bend the floats if they are off from what your hieght should be... i want to say 33-36 are 16mm but ill have to doulbe check.. i know 34-36 are but not sure if 33 and lower are differant... once yo get the hieghts correct put the bowls on and open your gas. tap the bowls with a screw driver to make sure the floats settle right... if your hieght is off your carbs will either leak gas out the dumps when you turn the fuel on or when you go riding your bowls will go empty and not fillup fast enough and will cut out...
