  3. so why the hell you want a tach? if you really want one vapor makes a tach speedometer shift lights all kinds of shit integrated in it.. you can get them for like 120 bucks.. but they arnt tiny they mount on your bars and are about the size of a bar clamp ... well a little bigger then that ...

  7. the big ones on the filter side go to home depot they got them for like 99 cents each... and you can go to a auto parts store for the smaller ones on the motor side... also dont buy spark plugs at the stealership they charge 4 or 5 bucks a pop you can get them 1.89 at pep boys...
  8. i got a 200watt rs no problems. polish is getting a 200w rs my buddy chris run a 200w rs ... none of us had problems with them...
  9. you cant blame it on them... you have differant options of how much to take off.. you know going in that the more you take off the weaker its prone to being...just luck of the draw

  13. i got works triple rates... i love them nice and smooth... i got +2 ricky stator arms... they where on the bike when i got them, noyt my first choice but they are quality not reason to change them. im stripping my bike after this season is done any ways to redo it, or actually finish doing it, never completed my first go around at her.
  14. youll be ok running a 10 inch rim... thats more for duning... youll lose some bite for drag but if your not doing much of it then it dosent really affect you then... id just get some regular single buff haulers...but thats just me.

  16. the more the advace the more bottm end your going to have , but only thing with static unlike electronic curves (like a dyna) is its only set for top or bottom the entire ride... get a dyna and your curve will change thoughout the rpm ranges to advance or retard your timing for better all around performance. plus you can get the software and make your own curves, downfall is you should do it on a dyno to get it right so you can see where your faults are in the programming and fix them to gain max hp from it. it depends on what your compression is, more then likey you will be ok with +7 but only way to be 100% sure is do a compression test . +4 without a dought youll be fine doing... get a plate the keys are prone to shearing off and throwing your crank out of true, also you cant make changes to your timeing without pulling the flywheel and changing your key... the plate can be chaned by lossening 3 screws... if your going to do it . do it right the first time. i got mine at sears... i want to say it was 60 bucks.. only thing i dont like about it is the threads need to have a hex head so you can screw it in using a wrench... instead you have to use a set of pliers and it gouges the shit out of your tool..
  17. i must have miss read his post... i thought he was saying that there was a down fall to using a override (in general) if you do anything besides drag... the way i read it was there are problems with an override if your doing anything but drag... didnt catch the part of which over ride he is talkin gabout so i assumed duneable... i know the differance in the 2 :beer: this part got me confused
  18. incorrect, the rod has been moved 4mm lower on the crank... making it 4mm higher on the rotation of the motor... thats why you need 795 series pistons AND your domes cut... 2mm makeup on the pistons and 2mm makeup on the domes... agree or not, its a fact ...

  21. are you used to running stock carbs? the numbers on stocker are much higher! in the 300's for a 35pwk your going tobe running around 150-160 main depending on elevation
