running smaller domes will bring your compression up, the .020 over gaskets isnt going to lower your compression by much... a few lbs... if your running 150 psi you can probly drop one more size and be around 155 or 160 and be perfect for race gas...

you can make the stock plate adjustable ...only differance is the pro design or ricky stator come with the mounting holes already elongated and the plate has the timing marks on so you know how much timing your advancing it... theres no reason to do a dc conversion just becasue your geting a rs 200 watt.. if your only powering a few lights and your ignition then the stator doesnt need the conversion... only good the conversion really is for is to charge a battery so your lights can stay on while your motor is off.... but they burn the stators out so fsat its kinda pointless just kick the bike over and let it run if you need lights that bad... why burn a brand new stator? its a +4, but im selling it casue im goig longer for my new motor.

before you go and do the conversion you might want to read into it some... they are known for being HUGE headaches! i have heard maybe 2 stories where the outcome was possitive... and many many stories where the stator burned out after the 2nd ride... unless your powering some seriouse lights you dont need a dc conversion....

jetting on a piped banshee lid off and reeds at sea level to 1000 is in the 320 main ,27.5 pilot, middle clip needle ball park you can more then likey start a little smaller if your running stock pipes but its always good to start rich and move down and not the other way around.. for your screws that you cut off...do your self a favor go to sears and invest a few bucks into a impact driver.... they will get any screw out with the assistance of a hammer. great tool to have!

for sure! im getting the same motor but add a lockup and 1-5 dunable and a few other in and outs... we will have to meet up one trip out.. polish and i are planning a trip early jan possibly new years if my wife ends up being pregnant... if not we will do our yearly trip to mammoth...

are your air screws set the same turns out? same with your idles.... if one side gets hot faster then the other its normally one of those 2

just use spray paint... hit the inside of the grip and slide it over... once the paint drys it helps hold it too... then to get it off get an air hose shoot a blast under it and the will come right off..

craftsman sells a nice one for 60 bucks... but the didnt put alot of time into it when designing it... the fitting is round, rather then putting a head on it so you can wrench it in you have to use pliers and it chews the metal up...
