i have works trips WITH rez on front and works rez on rear... they are good shocks... and muich cheaper then elka fox axis and all the others brand that are charging 1200 bucks for shocks... polish had the dual rate no rez on his and he rode the shit out of his bike... never heard him complain about them...

you can get a big bore kit put in your jugs... it should be fine ... most people on here say dont bother becasue they are using the motor for darg racing... if that was the case then i would be smarter to get cubs... but you said your riding mx so a cub is 100% wrong motor for that... either way you got aftermarket or stock crank have it trued and welded! and as far as the long rods go ... they do nothing for performance, a long rod makes the angle that your piston is at when your motor fire put less stress on your crank bearings connecting rods ect... on a stock jug without a bigbore sleeve installed you can go over .100 but thats as far as you can take it without busting through the walls

put the shaft on top of the swing arm...

you should be able to unscrew the the choke and check inside... try cleaning out the housing... they stock carbs or aftermarket?

well first off banshees dont ave a rev limiter so to say this box will raise your limiter 1000 rmp isnt realistic. by changing the cdi wont make the operating max rpm output change... your hardwear can only take so much befor it reaches its weakest point. a cdi simply will not change this... now on anothewr note an adjustable cdi I.E. dynatek are with out a dought worth the 250 bucks... they are very ez to use stock and th e curves from the factory arnt too bad. if you have the time and money to invest in the programer and softwaer and dyno time you can squeeze out quite a bit of power from your timing alone.

Banshee Mods....Researching.
Bansh-eman replied to auji700triple's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
all years are the same.. there are 2 differances... one is the j-arm to a-arm frames... the late 80's had j-arms and the rest are a-arms.... the other differance is the plugs for the cdi... theres 3 of them... 87-94 , 95-96, 97- present now for your questions 1. stock is about 35 hp 2. the biggest gains will come out of good porting and pipes.. then there are others that will add small numbers 3. bottom end pipes are a dime a dozen.. most mx style pipes fmf pro curcit dg 4. jetting is related to your temp and alt. your pipes wont make a differance once you start jetting rather then going from say a lowend to a top end pipe then jetting for the differance will matter 5.reeds yes get some Vforce 3 your throttle respones will greatly increas but spacers are of no performance gain they are simply there to clear the clucth arm for bigger carbs 6.this is debateable... yamaha says to rebuild the top end every 20 hours but many will agree this is not nessessary you can get 100 hours on them or you can get a leak and kill your motor in a matter of mins... its all a roll of the dice. 7.some guys on here claim they have hit 80's on a stock 350 but thats obserd. id say 50's top on a bone stock but there is going to be factors involved in it that would bump it up some... 8. your cooling should be fine i have a stroker and am getting many other things here and run a stock radiator.. 9.i run yamalube r2 36:1 10. a better flowing air box is always good... your motor is only going to run at its top performance as it can bring in gas and air and get rid of exhaust... if one is chocking more then the other then your performance will be rendered to the weakest of the two. 11.id say no cons. unless your piped for drag and your trying to race mx... set your bike up for your style riding and youll be good -
i also had a back experiance with him... i sold him some intake boots that cost me more to ship him then i sold them for... when i sent him a message about his location to see why the shipping was so high i got no respones... so basically i paid for him to get a free intake boot, but it wasnt really worth my while to bother with it and called it a loss.

the problems you got a hole in your piston :shoothead: got a leak somewhere
-
use a tape measure... messure the front and back and set them the same .. then measure top and bottom and set them about 1 inch less on top ...no special tool is needed this will do caster camber and tow picth so then you should be rdy to go

your motor is going to run at the same operating temp with a cool head or a stock head... only thing that will make it run cooler is a biger radiator and a cooling agent like water wetter or engine ice... the cool head is great for switching domes and providing better flow for your coolant but its still going to run at the same temp.
-
the mechanical gauge only moves the needle based on the temp... you have to have a power lead to run a backlite gauge...
-
the dyna for a banshee doesnt come with a launch limiter, thats only on rpators yfz450 warrior and preditor

awsome, pm sent -
most of the time a stocker will melt not shatter... if it does shatter it can lodge in the jugs.. the radiator if its small enough to go through the tunes... or it can just sit in the water pump housing... eithwer way if your came apart you should flush your system out....
-
you know what it might not be booker with the gauge it might have been rippen thats got one... either ways its one of those two guys
