  1. yea i was going to say the foam pits really are winners for the dirtbike kids that can learn on a 50 lbs mini and then once they get it down push the big bike around for a bit... your kinda shit out of luck as far as a quad goes you just got to do it..
  2. i havent heard too much good about them... they are made right down the road from where i live and the locals dot even run them... id look into them more before spending the money, for not having a good name they charge just as much as a proven brand.
  3. you can get most your used stocker parts off ebay for pretty cheap... ad all years are interchangable but the j arm to a arms and then the cdis have 3 differant plugs 87-94, 95-96, 97 on... other then that every thing will fit all years... you can get a frame for 300 bucks some times on ebay. your most expensive thing will be your motor... used radiators arms swingre and shit they are a dime a dozen these days
  4. yes i do agree that they should correct the problem... thats for sure... how ever to change to a cpi becsue they fit better is retarded.. cpi fit the same or worse... and like said they also suck to get to the jets on top of them fit.
  5. yup 1394, its the same plug as the small side of the ones for a digital camera
  6. actually you might gain a very small amount becasue the stockers have a spark arrestor built in so by replacing them you should get a small amount better flow then you have now but your not going to be getting a whiplash effect by changing it out by any means
  7. the fire wire card or if its built in you would have the jacks that look like the small camera ones or the big ass square ones like for a external harddrive. if you dont have one of those then you dont have one...
  8. hey you guys know of a place that would sell the timing selection switch for the dyna? mine somehow got ripped off my bike last time i rode and i didnt notice it until last night. im trying to get ahold of dyna but they arent answering the phone.
  9. if you dont have that hose it really isnt a big deal.. biggest thing would be to make sure it doesnt get clogged...
  10. i know that sony and panasonic can both transfer video over those cables...but those are the only two i have owned
  11. your a fuking fool... if you think cpi fit anybetter then shearers you have lost your mind... cpi are just as bad.. and to top it off the pipe design sucks to get in and change your jets... shearers are hand made pipes so no two pipes are going to be exactly the same.
  12. he was asking how much you can bore it over before its a big bore... not the maximum bore you can take it out to if i read it right... .080 until you hit 68mm which is bb .100 is the max you can bore it before you need it resleeved
  13. what kind of gauges are you hooking up? you have a main auxillery power that you can tap into its the yellow with black wire i think. it goes into your light switch... you can splice into that for power...
  14. the line from the clutch cover... and the line from the very back of the cases go into a "T" spliter and then the third side of it vents the two... just run the line somewher above the two lines... the collant bottle bottom goes from the radiator cap...and the top one on the bottle is a vent
  15. almost every digital camera now days has a usb hookup. same as your normal cameras... you plug it in and turn it on and the computer will reconize it... hit capture video and your good
  16. with the added hp he should be able to spin the 10 padds plenty ....id go with the 10's but thats just me... then again id have a +6 on that bike not a +4
  17. its the same head cept you need to replace the studs...
  18. i run the axclaliber on my bike... nothing but good from it... and like loco said they have great warrantys
  19. use windows movie maker... open the program and at the top left it says capture video... go through the options and use that to take it off then edit it...
  20. i dont know man, hes got a bigger motor then my bike has right now and i run 10 pads... i love them... they are imo perfect ... have tons of traction for dragging and enough for those tall loose hills to rip right up them while duning...
  21. yea your more then likely going to need a longer bolt... i put new bolts on the one for the frame and the one thats holding the pipe its self.
  22. the pickup is adjustable... it can move away from the flywheel.. there should be a gap at the two notches on the flywheel... i want to say its .020... basically its the same as a matchbook. make sure the pickup hasnt moved farther then the gap is posed to be, that could casue your spark to skip if it has
  23. silencers dont make the power for your pipes... the pipe its self is where the design is to make the power... i want to say fattys will fit powercore2 and turbinecore... but im not 100%
  24. my wife found a good website... www.leaseguide.com its got some really good info on there but i like to hear personal experiances too rather then juts reading a website full if info...
  25. check your pickup and make sure it hasnt moved away from the flywheel...also if the carbs have been sitting for a while open the carbs and clean them out better then blowing out the jets.... you need to clean out the float needle seats.... when you pulled the plugs how did they look?
