  1. go with the yfz450... i got my wife one... and she loves it... smooth power she can handle... i put a fci intake on it and rejetted it and its good for what we do with it... and its better to ride then a 400ex when its your turn lol
  2. your running rich....
  3. no they should all be the same...
  4. fiber,steel,fiber,steel..... you start and end with a fiber plate...
  5. oem ones are like 17 for the sleeve and 7 for the bolt...
  6. i run belrays 80w gearsaver... dont thik damn 80w thats thick... it not the same as motor oil...
  7. yea thats right... i was trying o say that you dont put 2 on one side to make it go all the way around... you use one per and you make the c clip fit in the grooves so half is on the bottom case and ghlaf is on the top case...
  8. you olny need one per... you put part of the c on top part of the c on bottom you dont have 2 on one ride... im i clear in what im saying? i know what im thinking to my self but not sure if its typing out as clear as im seeing the word to my self
  9. umm cant remember ff the top of my head... i know theres one one the drive sproket side... cant remember if the other has one or not... check your clymers it should say... im at work right now so i cant grab mine...
  10. the differance is angles and the amounts off metal taken out of certian ports.. they have a hi speed grinder... a dremel doesnt cut it... also they have angled handles to get into the transfers you cant get to with a stright dremel...
  11. you dont have to change anything... just drop the new crank in.. make suure you have one half of each keeper or c cliip on top and bottom... also pour some pre mix oil into the webs before you put it in and spin the rods a few times... use yamabond.. but its nopt only on the outside edges its all of the mating surface... anywhere metal touch put some on it... and you do top and bottom not just one... but do go over board with it...
  12. if your running stock rubber intakes... keep an eye on the rubber... the boost bottle adds weight to the rubber and can cause it to crack....
  13. explain one thing for me then casue im a tard when it comes to electrical... if you add a 200Watt RS you dont have to upgrade your regulator... why?
  14. did you search the number on the motor or on the frame??? also pull the plug on the cdi and snap a pict of it... that will narrow it down to 95-95 or 97- present being you said you know its not j arm... then from there im sure w can figure it out
  15. lol man i said somethig to my wife about heading out there.... but its quite a drive for me!!! god knows id love to come... but i might have to just take you up for next weekend even though my heart just burst into flames for saying this!!! let me sleep on it... i might just take a smidge out of my bike funds to make that trip out... oh and i got the hubs off tonight... messed up one bolt that hold the brake disk on and one stud in the sproket hub.... but no biggy... now the only thing holding me back is the upper a arm bolt
  16. welp there you go right out of the horses mouth.... thnx blowit... cleared alot up.... this question always comeup and no one has been able to give a solid answer they just know it effects the lights .... good info!
  17. yea thats the stock regulator... the one ricky stator sold you was probly some after market one that can be used on any application so it wasnt built to bolt directly to the stock mount...
  18. id have to disagree that it messes your bike up... i know of plenty seriouse drag bikes that either plug them or run intakes that dont have the ports for the tube or a built in corssover and nothing happend to them... it dosnt sync your jetting it balances the pressure between the two sides...
  19. i guess the same reason trojan made a condom that doesnt always work? i run my intak with a built in crossover becase like said nothing has said that blocking it makes any more or less power.. but we can all agree the boost bottle does nothing over a stock crossover tube or a built in...
  20. ill have to recheck my harness when i get home but from what i remember the blue wire goes into my cdi... but i might be thinking of a differnt wire... i guess ill have to take a gander at it once i get home...
  21. my house dropped 2 sigs
  22. its got you reading it though dosent it?
  23. im not an electrician so this might be incorrect.. but im pretty sure the regulator is for more then your lights??? the blue wire plugs into your cdi from the regulator..but i havent cracked open a cdi to see if it only supports the lighting or if it bridges on to the ignition side also... cdi's go out all the time without warning... that could be your problem... theres a ton of reasons electical units fail, just test each component and start narrowing it down
  24. i got a stock cdi off my 2000 shee... 50 bucks shipped to lower 48 states... lmk
