  6. the guy that was doing it, actually broke his arm casue he was standing over th tire when it poped. we where at the races when it happend. you should have seen all the poeple freak it like it was a bomb.

  9. yup they are trying to pass the same law with offroad vehicles as jetskis. right now in the state of california you are required to hold insurance on jetskis. they are trying to pass the same law with our shit now.
  10. ahhh jesus your killing me. im trying to figure out how to type it so you can visualy see what im trying to explain. ok your set a bead without any aid. the tire stretches in all directions right? right. well because there is more surface area for the tire to expand up and the sidewalls are stiffer then the tread it will strech more upwards. meaning to get the side walls to reach far enough to the beads to seat them you have to add more pressure and at time bounce the tire off the ground. now do the ratchet strap. you first off are squezzing the tire in the center making the edges puch outwards to be closer to the bead. but thats not as much of an effect as the next part but it does help. now with the strap on the tire can not expand in the direction of least resistance (upwards) so the pressure is forced to go to the next place. the sidewalls. so you do not need as much pressure to get the tire to pop over the bead and seat it. i dont know how else to say it. if you dont belive me, try it. its not my opinion, its a fact.
  11. check the laws. if i remember right, living in texas you where not required to have a atv dirtbike or anything. i know california is passing a law that requires insurance, i have never heard of that in texas... you might check into all that... its diffinatly a first i have heard of it in texas...

  13. i kinda agree with milo. there was a kid that was like 14 or 15 at the track last weekend on a 250. that kid was fukin RIPPIN it up!!! put him on the bigger bike and let him learn now so later its easier

  15. the reason it takes say 50lbs to pop the bead is becasue the air is expanding up so to get the whole tire to stretch until the bead pops requires more pressure. by using the strap you leep the tire from needing to expand more in all directions to achieve the stretch you need in only one direction... its one of those things that if i could show you it would be easier to explain. typing it is a little more difficult
  16. it should not harm your static compression reading. make sure your tester is sealed and giving a good reading... 55lbs isnt not enough to start that motor. you either dont have it sealed all the way or the gauge is busted.
  17. you can run stock banshee steels. as far as the fibers i have not ever messured the R6 fibers to see if they fit. just buy FZR 1000 plates. they fit and will hold the same of better then the R6 plates

  19. your jets should be in the ballpark of 320 mains 27.5 pilots needle 4th clip. 2 turns on the air screw 32.5 is way to big... your probly not going to need to run a main as big as 320 becasue you said your runnig the air box right? also check those plugs like i said in a prior post

  21. im selling my blue IMS 4gal its been cut for a dual pingle vavle so the stock petcock shouldnt be run in it anymore. make me a reasonable offer.
  22. i should be home in about an hour. ill try to snap some picts of it... you want to run a pingle vavle on there if u do end up getting it... the main support for a stock petock was cutout to fit the pingle.

Ok guys now that im repainting my palstics im going to put my stock tank back on and sell ym IMS. its been cut to run a dual pingle looks great no scratches or anything. about half a season on it. taking offers. will not come with gas cap or pingle/petcock will post pict later if anyone wants them
  24. man make sure you use pressure treated wood and coat that shit so it doesnt rot. would suck to spend the time and money to build it and the fukin thing rot.
  25. its more or less for taller guys to not feel like they are riding a toy... instead of paying for lonestars name... look ino a modquad.. i got the stem with antivibe and clamp for like 250 or something like that... maybe even cheaper.. i cant remember off the top of my head...
