  1. you dont have to messure at wide open. you messure your idle on both sides. make them match... thn you crack the throttle and messure it again and they should still match. once you get them to match at both then they are sucking the same amount
  2. twist sold bump
  3. good luck! break a leg no pun intended
  4. its most likely your plates... but i cant say for sure without seeing it... normally your plates will leave alot of shavings if your clutch isnt adjusted right. also if you add a 8 plate clutch youhave to file down the nipples on the inside of your clutch cover or they will hit the pressure plate.

  7. i know what washer your talking about, im trying to remeber where that goes without breaking out my books. i want to say thats on the kick starter assembly but im not 100% a littl metal is normal to have, how much are you saying is in there? either way you need to get to the bottom of that washer. also have you changed your clutch anytime lately? that could be the metal casue its not adjusted right.
  8. once again the question that starts the bitching war is asked.. there are a ton of great builders. you cant point a finger and say flat out that he is the best. call around and start talking to builders. see who you like , who calls you back, who helps answer your questions and is in your price range. theres alot of work that goes into porting a motor so make sure you go with someone that knows what he is doing. also understand right now is a VERY busy time of year. dont expect to get your motor done in 2 weeks check out some of these guy: Jeff at FAST Jim at Passion A&S K&T Redline Hurr Jugs Patriot and many many more.
  9. the slides do not close completely. there will b a small gap at th bottom still when they are "closed"
  10. take out all the slack on your cable then screw the caps all the way in... use your idle screws to get it to hold... then start turning the screws on the cap... getting idle is the hardest part of it, once you get that going its ez
  11. you need to get that thing to idle befoer you put it on the dyno, if your runnign stock carbs you should be around 320 main, 27.5 pilot, needle 4th clip. once you get it idleing nice break it in then worry about dynoing it. get your self a carb sync tool too. bacially you want to open the caps up so you can kick it and it will stay running. then set your idle. once your idle is good use the tool to messure the carbs and set them so they are synced at idle using the caps. then crack the thrttle a bit and messure again. to be honest unless your racing that thing dont waste your money dyno uning it.. you can get it close enough for playing on
  12. what ^^he^^ said
  13. snap a pict of the washer
  14. porting is opening the intake ,exhaust, and transfer ports up so you get more fuel and air into the motor to gain power at points along your power curve. theres a million differant combos when porting so you cant get a stright foward answer on whats the best. its all about your setup, wieght, and most important money. you can go as fast as your wallet will let u. do some research on builders and start calling around and asking questions. porting is by far the best gain you can get out of any motor work but if done by some jackass that doesnt know what he is doing, your going to kill the motors output
  15. then you wired it wrong... the lights are very simple.... if you bypassed your regulator you might have popped your bulbs and they need to be replaced
  16. is your motor worn out? a stock banshee has plenty of power to pull the front end up. if you are indeed riding the power right you should have no problems picking it up.
  17. doesnt make much sence to pay more money to have it ported to a 4mil, you can sell it and buy new jugs for less that are casted to already take the stroke
  18. glad i could help
  19. reeds, pipe, head, CDI, coil, swinger if u went stroker, shocks, carbs, override, tassels.... take your pick those are the most common
  20. are you asking how to make a stock stroke cub into a 4mil cub?
  21. if its hitting that hard when you shift into first your clutch isnt adjusted properly. you need to take off the clutch cover and adjust it there and not the cable. if it snaps or trys to "creep" its fine but dieing .. its grabbing too much.
  22. BR8ES be done with it
  23. you got an air leak and popped it.
