Im in carol stream(hour west of chi town). My bikes put away for winter but my banshee should be back together soon. Anyone ever ride at Ki Tracks in Oregon??? I wanna try it out, they have a grass drag, mud pit, trails and mx track.

Anyone??? Otherwise, who is the cheapest and fastest?

I run the airbox lid ON, so 280's SHOULD work.

i need 2 27.5 pilot jets. I found some for 2.95 each but i dont feel like paying for ups. Does anyone have some clean ones that they can tape in an envelope and send to me. Ill paypal ya the $6.

OK, so ill keep the 280 mains, and the middle clip. I will move my airscrew to 1 out. And put in 27.5 pilots. Also, pump gas. And if that doesnt work, i will drop the clip to 4th from the blunt. Thanks, i will have to order the pilots and see once i get them.

dejogejr in a previous post told me 280 mains and middle clip. the 340's i took out with the lowest clip position started much easier and stayed running,just no snap mid to top. Now it starts like crap and doesnt stay running. And as soon as i touch the gas, it dies. I was just out there and tried to keep it running and it finally revved up after 20 times starting it, then it just died within 10 feet. WTF. I am going to go back to the settings on it before and just go down from 340 till it gets its snap back. Any suggestions, im gettin pissed since it seems like i lose one thing to get another. And im tired of taking the carbs off. I am also using the 110 race fuel from my decked out yz250 mixed 36:1. Should i go to pump gas?

Its between 0 - 30 here. I dont know what the pilots are. And they are in sync and the the airscrews are at stock setting. I would rather not pull the carbs to see the pilots, i would rather just get new ones and put them in once i get them.

But it started great before i changed the main and clip. I dont know what pilot to get, what would be the perfect pilot? Also, i am going to move the clip down one?

I previously posted that my banshee started great, idled perfect and had snap up to 1/4 throttle. Well i went and put the recommended mains and needle clip position and it took 20 kicks to start it. It revvs fast but i got stuck in the snow in ten feet so i dont know how my top end is doing, it sounded fine. But it died once i got stuck and pulled my clutch in. Its pretty cold out so i dont know if this is normal and i havent had a banshee before. I ussually ride my 04 yz250. When i went into the carbs, i found there were 340 mains and the needle was on the lowest clip and the needle itself was 5N7. Now its 280 mains and middle clip. I was reading on the stock needle i got in the rebuild kit that its a Y151. Should i put stock ones in? Also, when i let off the throttle, it does rev down as fast as it should, what can that be? I will post my mods at the bottom but should i move the clip back down one position to get a less harsh snap? Does my main sound about right? I should have looked what pilot is in there but i was freezing my nads off. Wont the blast cabinet take everything off most parts, just with a good media.

I plan on building another banshee and have all the parts already. I just want it to last and look sick. I want to do it right, so. If I buy a blast cabinet, a hotcoat powdercoating gun, and a electric oven, will the parts turn out nice??? I dont want to spend the money if it wont work good, but if it will, its a wise investment. I told a few people my ideas and already have people requesting parts to be done if i get it.

I would say about 3400, but not till april when everyone starts getting anxious. Right now, maybe 3, if that unless its a x-mas present like you said.

I was wondering the same thing. I work for an auto parts wholesaler and was thinking about doing the same thing, it would take too long to rummage through all the boxes so i gave up.

I have tried everything for a month to get my front brakes to work. Every trick i have seen on hq to get it to work, and no pressure builds. I rebuilt my master and there is no difference. If I buy a new yz master, will it work. My 250 does stoppies so will a better master work?

I need something that works with the stock stator. As I have nothing now, anything would be better.

I have the ever rare 350 oddysey. That thing pulls wheelies like no one business. Just keep it stock, there arent many left and if its in good condition, its worth more money than it was new. Also, performance parts are cheap for them. Port it, have the head done, bigger carb, new pipes, and they gooooooooooooo!!!

I am trying to find some better offroad lights for the banshee and was wondering what wattage i need to use. I found some 35 watt one's. What does everyone else run?

I bought my gf a yz85 that was decked out. BIG MISTAKE. She's has tried riding it three time now, the last time she launched it into two cheap hondas and broke her asv lever clear off. Funny, but not. If you do get her a fast one, just make sure you have a video camera ready. I should have gotten her a ttr125. Also, she says no quads, because i did try and talk her into one. GOOD LUCK WHATEVER YOU DO.

i was looking at the taillight and shouldnt it be on with the lights? Maybe i have a burnt bulb? Just wondering what it could be.

Electric Blue like on 98' newer yz's would look nice.
