  1. See if one of your slides are stuck up & sync them, if you didn't do 1 carb at a time~ make sure you put correct bowl on correct carb, correct slides in correct carb ( facing correct way), crossover choke tube back on , and do a leak down test
  2. Man this things been sitting 10&1/2 years ...why didn't i think to check the reeds Thanks!
  3. Define loud, rev's high, knocks , grinds... did it do it before & thats why you pulled it apart, or only does it since... did you knock a muffler off? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  4. Define took my banshee apart...Do a leak down? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  5. You'll have to ask cam...or who ever you choose for port work. I think those are dated & not popular pipes, but starting from scratch & knowing what pipes, they could complement the pipes as much as there ability allows. Will it be the perfect combo...no but porting on its own can make a large hp gain. And losing 5-10 on pipes , you wont feel by the seat of the pants. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  6. Both carbs? You drive on the street? i'd say lower the float & try it , they might be on the verge, but if you are on the street, be careful not to run them dry Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  7. ^^ & They dont make a recluse for a shee
  8. Honestly, i think you be impressed ( especially for the $) to just get it ported ( & have them repair the hoop) . Just find some body that will do a good port for that pipe. Just tell them what you do/ want & the situation of the reason you need to stick with that pipe Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  9. Cubs are a top end cylinder ( light switch top rpm power band) cp makes a non drag top end now serval cub mid to top rpm ) that would probably be a better fit for the pipe, or contact driveline & see if it'll work for there set up. they offer a high port ( cub style) and a low port ( serval style) Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  10. Only if ported for that pipe. 4mil. By its self, only adds little torque Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  11. What type of riding? Still gotta consider pipes Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  12. I'd do that 1st, just tell porter what your pipe/ situation is & go from there You say stock bore are they yamaha cylinders? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  13. Is it ported now?
  14. Use tapatalk for pictures. you can helicoil stud and epoxy the top flat and try it.I would at Minimum pull top end off and look at the rest of your pistons, bore & And check Clearances. After that you can decide which way to go . depending on what you find, and what your future plans are. If you need, dig around on here . I think kawa110 had cylinders for sale cheap. maybe The good one, is the side you need ? you'll just have to match the bores. Otherwise if your crank is good, buy a driveline top end & be done. 17. If you are running 180° i'd psi test cooling system. Leakdown=Plug both exh. Holes & both intake holes. In 1 or 2 of the plugs, put a shrader valve and a low psi. Gauge in the other. pump up to 7 psi & it should hold for 7 min's ...iirc You can just use pvc pipe with a "T" & caps & put them in the intake boots, with OG clamps. you'll just have to use the open part of the "T" in 1 to put in a shrader & a gauge in the other 1& rubber expansion plugs in the exh. 18. Define "all" have you checked the actual temp's? Done a leakdown test? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  19. Verify its a 4mil. Crank Verify piston #'s If pistons were wrong, the cheep way is buy correct pistons & try & get it running & Reassess. Better solution ~send to reputable builder get correct porting, check crank & ditch the spacer. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk

  21. Vent by water pump? 1 has nothing to do with the other. Make sure your rear vent is good Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  22. Not getting fuel @idol... Check Sync, pilot, idol rpm n go from there Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk

  24. You probably went in farther than it usually goes. They're typically spring loaded, it might un-stick but i'd try & pull it back out ( with fluid in reservoir)before pushing it in farther & when you bleed it, only go in1/2 way in each time, until it gets some psi built up.
