  1. use a turkey baser then use a paper towel and whats left blow out with air. its not a big deal.
  2. If it were me I would spray some 2cycle oil or something on the crank and rod so the barrings dont rust being you used gas to clean it.
  3. yeppers!! well worth having.
  4. What he said. I forgot about the grease. Thats a must do! The one at autozone is made by Great Neck and its a 5 pc Impact Driver Set. I cant seem to find it on their website but they do carry at the store.
  5. Bansh-eman is correct. all you need is just a wrench unless you are just replacing the top part then its a philips screw. If your just changing out that part be careful not to loose the ball and spring. I would replace the O-Ring so the kicker doesnt rattle. Once mine starts rattling to much I replace that O-ring. Take the old one off and match it up at the hardware store. I cant stand the rattle.
  6. Well looks like mine is a stock size. Now why the hell would someone spend all that $$$ on lsr a-arms and just put the stock size back on. i think the swingger is stock size as well.
  7. you can buy an impact screw driver from most auto parts stores I got mine from autozone for like 11 bucks. If you dont want to go that way and you cant turn it out with a philips screw driver you will have to drill it out. Try tapping on the screw driver with a hammer as you are turning it that might work to. Once its broke loose you can just unscrew it. Hope that helps.
  8. is that 42 from outside of the tires?
  9. what would even be nice is if the guy that has it knows the person that sold it so you can press charges. GOOD LUCK MAN!!!
  10. Damn with all the shee experts here no one can help me with this one?
  11. I cant wait to talk to Jeff. I'm not sure what I want to do just yet. I would like to send him my hole motor so he can go through the tranny to make sure all is up to par. I also want to get some port work done. I thought about getting it done localy but the ediot here cant even get the bore right. Last time I took it to the guy here I asked what size pistons I should get. Well I did what he said took the jugs back to him when they came in he did a hone and now my right jug is .001 bigger then left causing my compression to be uneven. It will be nice to deal with someone that knows what they are doing. The only reason I havent done it yet is because I know if I talk to him now I will spend money I dont have. Jeff I look foward in talking to you in the next few months after my business picks back up. Ron
  12. hahaha.. good idea or something like you got another offer for 10k and see if he will match it.
  13. yes it is! the billet ones are metal and the stock ones are plastic. If you have the money to buy one then its a good idea to get one. I still have the stock one in my because from the shortage of funds but on the other hand i have a temp gauge that i keep my eye on while riding. the billet ones also move more water or coolent or whatever your running. Alot of guys run engine ice as well. I run wetter water or water wetter whatever the hell its called. I run that because it can be mixed with coolent for the winter.
  14. the main reason the boost bottle's arent worth it is because they put extra weight on your intake boots causing them to crack i know from experience. If you want to have the cross over between the 2 either use the cross over tube (less weight) or buy the intakes with it built in. As in adding power thats all BS. I have no cross over between mine and that didnt change my power at all. I'm in no way an expert just saying what i have found from personal experience. hope this helps.
  15. If this guy is for real have him send you a cashiers check or some type of money order. If he says something like he cant convert the money or get a cashiers check then you know its BS! Any bank can do a cashiers check. Plus if he sends you a cashiers check you are in the clear! You have the right idea getting his phone number. Dont just give this guy your personal info without talking to him on the phone. Good luck man!
  16. I'm trying to figure out what size my a arms and swingger are. I know they are lsr but how can i tell if the swingger is -/+ or stock? Same with my a arms they are lsr to along with my stearing stem or what ever its called. I have gone to the dealer and looked at the 06's and mine sure seems wider and longer. It's about time for me to get new sprockes and chain so this should help me get the right chain. Course I could always count the number of links which I will probaly do to be sure. Any info would sure be helpful. Thanks, Ron
  17. well if he hasnt gotten it fixed by now then he really has a problem being this is a post from Oct 21 2005, 08:24 PM .... lol
  18. i run all 6 heavy duty in mine and its alot stiffer then stock but it doesnt bother me. guess i dont have wuss hands...j/k lol..
  19. i agree! next time dont be so quick to pull the head off. first look at spark plugs and if they look fine then do a compression test if that is low them pull head off. Put the head back on and test the compression. If your not getting any spark the plugs should be wet. pull out the plugs and plug one back into the wire and then touch the other to either the frame or something metal and spin the motor over. If your getting a good BLUE spark then spark shouldnt be the problem. Put the plugs back in and spray some pre-mix (the gas you run in the tank) in the back of the carbs and see if it tries to fire. If it does then good chances the carbs need to be cleaned. Also if you have the TORS still conected unplug the black box on the left side under the gas tank. Hope this helps.
  20. I think the key to it is picking one that you like and stick with it. I use belray as well. just my O2.
  21. even still being its a pre-mix i would still drain to be on the safe side. Sea Foam is some great stuff but i just wouldnt take the chance. its not like its a big deal to drain a few gallons of gas.
  22. if you have any doubts about the ratio mix get the ratio rite cup. it is your best friend when it comes to pre-mix. I used to be worred about the mixing until the guy at my local dealer showed me the ratio rite cup. They are only a few bucks and worth every penny. here is a link for it at rmatv. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...mp;navType=type Hope this helps
  23. I have them all the way around and i havent had any problems.
