  1. "QUOTE I talked to a local builder today and he shot me the idea of putting a 15T on the front with a 43 44 on the back to optimise mecanical tourqe." That gearing would be the same as running stock gearing 14/41.You will need alot of torque to pull that with a 72" rollout. and you still wont be able to launch in second.Depending on how steep your hill is that you race on if it's steep you will actually go slower.
  2. My .02 cents would be 35mm pwk's and a 13/46 gearing with your said roll out
  3. One other suggwstion is make sure you don't have the slides in the wrong carbs.
  4. 20 thousands air gap at the raised trigger. You might want to check the gap at both raised triggers to see if there is a discrepancy.
  5. Check the gap on the pickup at the flywheel.
  6. I have never had any concerns with mine and I have had t off multible times.
  7. I would just get the cpi's,However depending on your carb size you may end up clamping the cpi stingers to the frame to clear your clamp ons.I now on my cub with 38's the inframe cpi's just touched the carb cap but you can turn the carbs for clearance a little bit.
  8. I got a +4 key and a brand new stock key.$20.00 for both or $10.00 for ether.
  9. Wiseco,No question.
  10. Oh great, now I have another bad habit!
  11. I talked to toomey about them making the stingers again and marketing them for fmf's and so on about a year ago and they said they were thinking about making them but I don't believe they followed threw with it.Maybe if you talked to Steve at toomey he may do someting for you.
  12. I know that fmf fatty pipes will work with toomey t-3 stingers but the t-3 stingers are harder to find.
  13. I got one from my 06 shee, almost brand new.Pm me if interested
  14. Thanks Sandslinger pipes are just as described, bansheeseat$$
  15. Try calling Cascade Innovations 1-503-663-2887.They might be able to help you.
  16. If one side isn't fireing at Idle or low rpm check your pilot jet for a piece of dirt, sand. It duesn't take much to block off the pilot jet.
  17. Do a coolent pressure test that may work for you,Or engine leak down test may work as well.
  18. I put mine in the origanall spot.
  19. Honestly I don't know about the added bottom end. When I built this cub engine the 38mm setup is what I put on it and I haven't ever put a dual set up on this engine.I know in my case when I start off it seems ok at the bottom but if I slip the clutch and pin it at a slow cruising speed it pulls instantly.
  20. My 06 shee has the single 38mm setup and I shread other cubs with two 35mm carbs. My .02 cents
  21. Yes stock intakes will work with 28mm carbs.
  22. They have pilot jets,And they do NOT have AIR JETS.
  23. So when the chain broke it didn't wad up and break your case and posibly your stator whineding wires?
  24. Going out to the mountain this weekend. Will be in a grey 06 f-350 and 35 foot raptor fifth wheel.Stop by and say high.
