  1. Or you could keep the manual 6 speed transmissin instead of running a cv belt. Now will you have 3 cylinders or 4?
  2. Steller is the only way to go.
  3. H6M is just the bulb type. Kind of like H3's, 9004's, 9005's, 9007's. There are some blue knock off bulbs on ebay that are much cheaper. I think my Piaa H6M bulbs were around 25-30 bucks each. If they are charging you in that price range make sure they are Genuine Piaa's and not the knock off's. Also dont touch the bulb or the oil from your fingers will cause them to burn out or blow. I run them because I prefer the stock head light look. I also run them in my 660 raptor. They are a nice bright white. josh
  4. Yea they do look like keihin seconds. Look at the air filter side of the carb. It is all chewed up around the air screw intake passage. I would pass and get some real keihins. If it isnt good enough for keihin to sell it isnt worth the headach to make it right.
  5. Yea that is for sure.
  6. I guess they look like keihin pwk 28's to me. Why do they not look like real Keihin's to you?
  7. I run Piaa H6M replacement bulbs. They produce a nice bright white light. You can get knock off bullbs on ebay but I run the real deal.
  8. Yea I did but those pics are a couple years old. They were shot with an old 4.0 MP Kodak eazy share camera. My new camera would put those to shame, or make my banshee look bad due to to much detail. The new camera is a Canon EOS 60D digital slr camera. 18 Megapixle, 1080P HD video, Swivle LCD screen. I just have the kit 18-135mm lens, and the 70-300mm zoom len. Both have image stabilization. Grand total $2100. Canon's perfessional L series lenses start out at around $1500. Next time you watch sports on tv. Look for the photographers with white lenes on their camera's. It is a canon trademark. Ehtire way you cant go wrong with a Canon or Nikon.
  9. Thanks. It is just a direct drive lockup cover. Powdercoated black. The water pump cover is a tm designworks. I dont know if they make them any more though.
  10. So what your saying is that you shouldn't leave it in for 100K miles like it was designed for. You should change it out like the green stuff but pay more $$$ for the orange dex cool. Dex Cool is crap. Do a internet seach for Dex Cool you will find more links about class action law suits, automotive forums slamming dex cool, and technical info on why it is not good vs any that recomend running it.
  11. Just leave a fuel can of 1/2 bleach and 1/2 gasoline as bate. They wont get to far when the engine locks up.
  12. I would run CPI's they come on a sooner than other inframes and are more forgiving. Sniper's pipes are supost to come on like cpi's and rev out 800 more rpms. But they are a inframe drag pipe that is speciffically designed for the 421 cub cylinder.
  13. That is to bad. Dex-cool is junk
  14. You won't be able by eye. You just get a machine drill bit set. See wich bit fits.
  15. If your carbs are setup for methanol then they won't work for gasoline. When you properly set them up for alachol you drill the dump tubes out to 0.118 or in that area. The dump tube is the passage of the carb body that the needle slides up and down in. It is nonreplaceable.
  16. you could always put it a little closer to the radiator in the upper radiator hose. Make it so you can see it through one of the vent holes in the gas tank cover on the RH side.
  17. Wonder how much the twised rear sub frame is worth?
  18. Probalby not very well. They would be to agressive and dig you a hole. That and since it is cold and the paddles are vulcanized on you would probalby end up ripping paddles off.
  19. Yep and the same would be expected from any other site sponcer that builds banshee specific engines. You can have you a fast machine for not a whole lot of money if you go about it the right way and dont blow your money on stuff that isnt really needed. Pipes, Port job, Shaved head, and a timing plate.
  20. That is the chain I run. RK GB520EXW ring chain, or what ever it is. It is rated at 8500 tensil strenght.
  21. Angled Boss Racing Intake 10 Deg Pod Filters
  22. Cascade Heat Wraps, no zip ties
  23. The several is a duned ported cylinder. Wich is a mid and top end. It is a better all around cylinder for most people vs the cub wich is a drag ported cylinder.
  24. I run a boss intake, 33pwk's with 6in 10 deg k&n pods. Rh side is fine, left filter is fine but the outerwear will touch from time to time. I just use a short cascade innovations heat wrap. It is a 6 to 8 in sleeve that you slip on the stinger tube. It insulates good. They don't even get hot. You can touch them with your bare hand.
  25. Nology coil has 2 post like a spark plug. The wire snaps on the coil and on the spark plug. You run a regular plug wire like what a car uses. I run the nology hot wires too. They are supose to increase spark as well.
