  1. If its an IMS tank, try calling them to see what they think about it. maybe they'll have some suggestions.
  2. I agree with Bill on everything except the economy part...IDK about where you guys are, but the economy here in Michigan sucks some serious ass. It
  3. Resale on any recreational vehicle is lower than you would think. There is a ton on the market to choose from depending on your area, and it
  4. where were you guys three weeks ago when I posted a topic asking for the peg mount bolt size...I didn't get one good reply. someone told me to try calling the steelership. :shoothead: I figured it was M10X1.25 but wasn't for sure. :ermm: ...all well...I handled it.
  5. I don't recall the color of it, it was at least 3 or 4 years ago. I remember that it was a younger guy driving it, early 20's maybe. and there was a large older guy helping him tune/work on it, I assumed it was his dad....? they would wrench on it for an hour then ride for 10 min, then go back to wrenching. thing ran though...and was def unique.
  6. I seen one run at the dunes a few years back. it was pretty damn fast and sounded mean as hell, like no other banshee I've ever heard. But like dave said, he was tunning it about every two passes down the track. It was fast, but not any faster than any other built shee out there that day. Kind of a novelty IMO, cool though.
  7. Motosport.com has them for like $45 I think. I bought mine directly from TM Designworks along with their complete Slide-n-Guid kit last spring. Everything (slides, rollers, and case saver) was like $150 if I remember correctly.
  8. I just checked Bikebandit and was suprised to see that they are more expensive than the dealership too :: I'm starting to think that Wheels isn't so bad after all
  9. Wheels USA in Oxford, Mi. I also checked with Ray C's in Lapeer, Mi. but they haven't got back to me yet.
  10. I'm in the process of rebuilding my lower end, and I need various seals, circlips, keepers, and fasteners. I already checked with a couple mail order places that carry OEM parts out of the DirtWheels mag (won't say any names) ,but my local Yamaha Steelership came in cheaper on 95% of the parts I need. So who knows where to find em cheaper?
  11. Yes, you need idle adjust screws. drill and tap. ...check your other topic
  12. There is more to eliminating the TORS than just changing the carb tops. Did you instal idle adjuster screws? Unplug all of the TORS wiring? Sync the carbs?
  13. I'd say the TM Designworks has a superior setup over the rest
  14. If the hats are fitted or flex-fit, I'll take one in black and one in blue. :: ...maybe a T-shirt too.
  15. Anyone happen to know tap size for the Foot Peg Mounts? I think the bolt is an M10x1.25 - metric thin pitch, but I
  16. Shit, I never heard what happened with the HQ stickers for the flags. Last I knew Chase was working on something, and I haven't seen him on here in while. A nice fitted HQ cap would be sweet too.
  17. I still have my old stock set you can have for next to nothing + shipping.
  18. I've been polishing my case the last week or so, and let me tell ya...my new Dremal 400XPR with the flex-shaft attachment is my fingers best friend. Its the only way to get in those nooks and crannies you just can't get by hand. I'll post some pics when I'm done
  19. I've had a couple of issues with Trinity in the past (with Matt - no longer there). I always deal with James now...if I have to call there. He's a pretty nice guy, and usually takes care of me. But if I bought anything else of theirs, I'd probably buy it from Jeff@FAST.
  20. I usually get about 40 to 50 miles to a full tank of gas depending on how hard I'm pushing it. There is a trail in northern Michigan that I know like the back of my hand, and I can only make it about 22 miles in and 22 miles out with very little gas left. The damn 4-strokers I ride with will still have a third to a half of a tank left. :: It will vary depending on what you have going on under the seat there too
  21. Here they are, let me know what you think.
  22. If you want to meet me somewhere I'll just give them to ya, if I have to ship them, just pay for the shipping. You can just owe me a small favor; ya never know maybe I'll need something someday? Auburn Hills area
  23. I've got some nearly brand new stock hangers that I bought about two weeks before I picked up my RIS Design billet ones. Let me know if you're interested, and we can work something out.
  24. He spelled that right  :yelrotflmao:
