  1. whatcha got? I've been lookin for a few thing on ebay...(no stock parts)
  2. whats up with the basket? still have it? can you post a larger pic of it please, I may be interested if its still available.
  3. I've been using Klotz R50 mixed at 32:1 religiously for pretty much the entire life of my banshee from 1999 to present. I used Yamalube 2-R 32:1 for about 2 months before that and really noticed a difference after the switch. With the Klotz there was less exhaust smoke, less plug fouling, and an over all better running motor. Not to mention I didn't need to rebuild my top end until last season, that
  4. 1) What type of aftermarket exhaust do you have? - Trinity Stage IV 2) What type of airfilter do you have? - K&N 3
  5. I received my payment promptly as promised, and I would definitely do business with Justin again. -Ryan
  6. Thanks!
  7. shit, I thought you were joking at first. I thought to myself, He has a pretty mean looking shee in his avatar and he doesn't know what kind of oil to use?:shoothead: Yeah right! anyways, I like the Bel Ray Gearsaver 80w but ATF or 10w30 will work.
  8. If they were 20-11-8's I'd be all over them :ermm: ...sorry. good luck
  9. C'mon fuckers, I'm not asking you to do push-ups. Please, am I on track or what? bump up to 330's maybe?
  10. After jetting by feel and getting what I thought felt close (320 Mains) I did a plug chop for the first time and this is how they looked. What do you guys think? Does the color and thickness look right? Ryan
  11. I have both, any takers...20 bucks
  12. I don't know about the best but I like the RIS Designs billet hangers, I found my pipes actually fit better with them over the stockers. ...But, they hold them pretty solid and do not have any rubber cushions which some guys will tell you is bad. I guess if the welds on your pipes are shitty then you might want some rubber absorbers? I've had them for three years with no problems, plus they look sweet.
  13. I've been wanting a set for a long time, but was told they're not making them for the shee anymore...? Something about AC used to make their bumpers and heal guards for them but had a falling out or some shit. We need to call IMS Roll and bitch if they really DON'T make em for banshees anymore.
  14. Compression tests are usually done after the motor has reached operating temperature to allow the pistons and rings to expand, although I have done test on my motor warm and cold with no real difference between the two. As long as your rings are seated you should get a fairly accurate reading. I recommend Bel Ray Gear Saver 80w. You would probably be fine with Royal Purple; I use it in my truck. But you want something specifically designed for wet type clutches for the crank case in the shee. Also, I my experience, its better to have a little extra fluid in the case than be a little low. I keep it just over the ring above the crosshatched part on the dip stick (or 1.6 quarts).
  15. FMF makes them. I got mine from Motosport.com for like 5 bucks each.
  16. If you take the head off and find that the piston and/or the cylinder is fucked up, take the cylinders off and send them to Jeff at F.A.S.T. Racing 785-364-5325. Jeff will set you up with everything you need to get her rippin again. And
  17. I would definitely pull the head off to see what you are dealing with before spending money on a new top end. But a mangled plug is never a good sign. Depending on your elevation you may be fine with premium pump gas, but I also run 19cc domes and with 165psi per cylinder shee runs great on a 50/50 mix of VP C12 and 93 premium. good luck.
  18. VP c12 Racing fuel mixed 32:1 with Klotz Super Techniplate or R50  Gets my adrenaline flowing every time. :geek:
  19. I was thinking $uspension, atleast that will be my next BIG purchase. And I know our Trinity pipes are no CPI or Shearers but they do outpull FMF's, Pro Circuit's, Toomy T5 & T6's, and that what a majority of the banshees I come across have around here. I'm with ya there, biggest selling piont for me. F#CK chrome, gimme stainless and billit all the way. ...anyway, good luck. Let me know how it works out for ya.
  20. Why not just keep the Trinitys and spend the money else where? Is a little more top-end worth it? Just asking, cause I have the Trinitys also and have been happy with them.
  21. After the motor is completely cool of course, never torque down when warm or hot. I'm sure that
  22. Call Jeff @ F.A.S.T. Racing (785) 364-5325 and leave a message, he'll hook you up...when he gets a min.
  23. What Pistons are you running? Stock, Wiseco, other?...they're not all interchangable.
  24. You should be fine advanceing the timming. If it does detonate, increase your octane level.
