Thats a top end pipe with a bottom end carb setup. Typically you wont have enough exhaust gas to use the pipes to its potential, because you would be bottle necking the intake because of the very small carb inlet size. Banshees dont really have a way of making the best of both worlds with a bunch of bottom end parts, and some top end parts together. You gotta more look at what you want, say maybe really good midrange for your setup, and gear all your components towards that.
My only engine mods are a coolhead at about 170 psi compression, a 34mm pwk, stiffer clutch springs, and 2 into 1 intake with a dynoport 2 into 1 pipe. My bike is actually pretty fast and its a blast to ride. I do well in the holes, and pretty good drag racing up the hills. The flats are a bit of a letdown, once I get into sixth gear I dont have enough top end to really carry my last gear. I am geared at 13/45 with 22" sand tires.
This is me climbing out a hole.

Ok, so here we are racing up boxcar in Coos Bay, OR. The guy in front has Paul Turner Torque pipes, 2 into 1 carb setup, and a 4mm long rod stroker motor ( 406cc $30k banshee). Guy in Second has CPI's with dual carbs and a ported 350 ($15k banshee). Im on the blue one in third with only the engine mods listed above. Not too shabby for just a stock motor with a few bolt on parts ehh?
