    Did you put the left carburetor on the right side? That sounds like the idle screw hole which is supposed to be facing to the outside of the bike. Are you sure the slides are facing the right way! Cause if the right side carb is actually the left, and you have the slides on the correct sides for stock, then they wont be installed correctly.

    Bore size will lower the compression also. Stock bore with a port job will probably be in the 160-170 range.

    This bike is a 4mm stroker, with t-rex cylinders. Its 460cc with 2 into 1 intake and a 38mm lectron on 50/50 race gas. It goes like heck. The guy that owns it is my best friends dad.

    Choke balance tube between the carbs connected? Are the slides in backwards?

    UMMMM???? You need to tell us what carbs your running. The answers can be entirely different between keihin, mikuni, lectron, stock bored with toomey needles, etc..... So no one can answer the question without the facts. It sounds like your running twin keihins, but that is something you need to tell us. If you have to crack the throttle to start it, its rich.

    Main jet is top end, needle is 1/8-3/4 throttle, pilot jet is idle to just off idle. What carbs are they?

    It seems to me more length than the trinity would work better for keeping the charge going in and atomizing the fuel better.

    Way too big, you should try a set of mikuni tm 28's, or pwk 28's.

    I would run a single pwk 35, thats an awful lot of timing for a higher compression engine. Stepped flywheel keys are also a weak point that often break.

    I got one. Its been repainted black, it has some signs of where there was light rust right at the bottom, and the silencer is trashed. I will sell it for $100 though.
